Church Building

Blue Heron

We have a pond behind our house and we see Canadian geese all the time, but every now and then we’ll see a mallard, road runner or a blue heron. When one of these birds are across the pond they are hard to see with the naked eye. So we keep a pair of binoculars handy so we can see these beautiful creatures that God has made. We have to keep turning the lever on the binoculars until the birds can clearly be seen – until they come into focus. [Read more…]

Do you use weed killer on your lawn? A lot of people do because most of us don’t like weeds. We have always used weed killer because we want our yard to look good. But my wife and I are trying to come up with viable alternatives to the harsh chemicals that are typically used around our house. [Read more…]

Red Snake and Red Apple

So what’s the big deal about sin? Everybody does it. We are all just human beings. We all make mistakes. There’s no need to worry about it. We’re not bad people. It’s not like we’ve murdered anyone.
