Lesbian Lay-In, Satanist, Blasphemer, Atheists and Brokenness

Greg preaching while I’m witnessing to Tom the Satanist

Friday July 3, 2015 was quite an interesting night. Before we started singing hymns, a friendly atheist came up to talk to Aaron. He used to hold signs with other atheists and stand in front of us when we preach. His name is Jim and he’s been kicked out of two atheist groups because he sticks up for our street preaching. He doesn’t agree with us, but he believes we have the right to free speech. Another lady was with him and they talked to Aaron for quite a while before we got started. After we sang some hymns, I brought a message against homosexuality and it allowed us to get into some good conversations. Greg with Born of Him Ministries went after me and while he was preaching, I talked to Tom the Satanist. Yes, he claimed to be a real Satanist and he had a pentagram tattoo on his calf muscle. He kept telling me that there aren’t object truths. I asked him if it would be wrong if I knocked him in the head and stole his wallet. He said yes, but it was only his subjective truth.  [Read more…]

Who Are The Lost?

Seek and Save the Lost Old Banner

The name of this ministry is Seek and Save the Lost. It comes from Luke 19:10 where Jesus says: For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. People visit this website from all around the world. Recently, several people have asked the question: who are the lost? This is a very good question. Who are the lost? Who was Jesus talking about in Luke 19:10? He had just told Zacchaeus that he was coming to his house. The people who heard Jesus say this murmured because Jesus was going to eat with what they called a sinner and He wasn’t going to dine at one of the religious leader’s homes.  [Read more…]

Seek and Save the Lost Budding Evangelist

It was a real blessing to have Rich, his family and Diana join me at MSU last Monday. Rich has three young boys and they ran to the students to hand out tracts. His middle boy also stood by him while Rich open-aired and repeated everything Rich said. We have a young open-air preacher in the making! The greatest blessing (besides fellowshipping with other believers) is that when other people witness with me at the university is that tracts can be handed out in addition to preaching.  [Read more…]

Pride and Selfishness

Seek and Save the Lost Pride and Selfishness

Most of us have heard of the book Pride and Prejudice. The name of the parade may have been changed this year to Equality Parade, but we all know that it was formerly called Gay Pride Parade and this whole week is still called Pridefest. Many people out here today are prideful and you are really celebrating because you know the Supreme Court is going to rule any day in favor of same sex marriage. So it appears that you have the pride part and many of you accuse my friends and I of being prejudiced. You call us homophobes. Nothing could be farther from the truth. It’s out of our love for God and love for our neighbors that we come out here witnessing today. The social clubs that join hand in hand with you don’t love you – at least not with godly love. Jesus is the Truth and godly love always, always speaks truth.  [Read more…]

Positive Thoughts

Seek and Save the Lost Telepathy

Many atheists hate God so much that they won’t even say “Bless you” when someone sneezes because it’s too close to or a shortened version of “God bless you.” So instead of saying this;  many atheists say “Gesundheit!” which is German for “[to your] health.” Along these lines, what do atheists say when a loved one is really sick or has a serious ailment? They obviously can’t say “I’ll pray for you” so instead a lot of times they’ll say they are sending “Positive thoughts.”  [Read more…]

Ministry Update

An open-air preacher friend of mine (Brad) suggested that I start giving updates of our witnessing outreaches. He said that other people have told him that the updates encourage them the share their faith in Jesus Christ. So after praying about this, I’m going to try to give updates after my friends and I have been out witnessing. So please let me know if you believe any updates are trying to put the spotlight on my friends or myself. The purpose of the updates are twofold: 1. Bring honor and glory to God 2. Encourage other Christians to share their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.  [Read more…]

Jesus is the Giver

Seek and Save the Lost Barnard I am a Christian

This is a great quote from Rolfe Barnard. Jesus is the giver. He gave His all. He died for my sins. He took my place on that cruel cross. He took the punishment that I deserved. I’m the one who sinned. I’m the one who rebelled against Almighty God. I’m the one with the wicked heart. I’m the one who deserves to suffer in Hell for all of eternity. I did the crime; I deserve to do the time. I’m the one who’s lied, stolen, blasphemed God, worshiped false gods (such as money and work), been drunk, lusted and on and on. I’ve broken the 10 Commandments many times over. I’m not bragging about these things, in fact I’m very ashamed of my past. I’m merely admitting some of my sins to show that I am a sinner. I can’t undo a single sin. I can’t save myself in any way, shape or form. I can do nothing to earn salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9). So all I brought to my salvation was my sin (Psalm 51:3-4).  [Read more…]

Enough Religion to Send You Straight to Hell

Seek and Save the Lost Hell Man Burning

This is going to be a tough message tonight and many of you won’t want to hear it, but it needs to be said. It needs to be said because even though we live in the Bible belt and most of us have at least one Bible at home and even though many of us have grown up in Christian homes or have been exposed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, sadly, many people in Springfield, maybe this includes you, have been exposed to just enough religion to send you straight to Hell.  [Read more…]

Jesus Is Lord

Seek and Save the Lost Jesus is Lord Website Pic

One of the verses that I quote when we’re out open-air preaching is Romans 10:9: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. This is one of my favorite verses in the Bible. It is a mighty powerful verse. Unfortunately, I’m afraid it is one of the most abused and misused verses in the whole Bible.  [Read more…]

You Can’t Take It With You

You have probably heard the saying “he who dies with the most toys wins.” This saying may make you chuckle, but it isn’t true. It is true that a lot of wealthy people start thinking about their legacy when they get older and many of them donate money to charities and colleges and most of the time they end up with a building or a fund named after them. They do these things because we all know this truth: You Can’t Take It With You.  [Read more…]
