Other Sheep

I was stoplight preaching earlier this week and a guy pulled his car up behind me and motioned me over to him. So I walked over and he wanted to know how effective street preaching is. Jesus told us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature. So it isn’t about “effectiveness” it’s about obedience. It turns out the man didn’t really want to talk about street preaching at all. His real agenda was to enlighten me and show me how the Bible says that Jesus witnessed to Native American Indians.  [Read more…]

Ministry Update August 9, 2015

Actually my friends and I witnessed downtown last Friday night like we always do. There just happened to be a bunch of immoral men and women downtown who were protesting because women can’t run around in public without wearing a top. The name of this rally is so offensive that I don’t even want to repeat it here.  [Read more…]

Why stoplight preaching? Why not? Jesus said go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15). Isn’t a street corner part of the world? Aren’t drivers and passengers part of His creatures?  [Read more…]

Turn Ye Unto Me

We turn a lot of things in life. We turn a key in a lock. We turn faucets on and off. We turn on and turn off lights. We turn on computers. Retail stores turn over inventory. In business, sometimes you have to turn a company around. It is heading in the wrong direction, the company is about to go under, sometimes even high profile companies, then they hire a hot shot CEO and that person comes in and turns the company around. We do indeed turn a lot of things, but there’s nothing more important than turning ourselves.  [Read more…]

Goodbye America Hello China

Rich Preaching at MSU July 21, 2015

Kelly I witnessed at MSU on July 21, 2015 with Rich, Jody and their three boys for the last time. You see, Rich and his family are saying goodbye to America and hello to China. They literally sold all of their possessions yesterday at an auction. They have 10 suitcases and five carry-on bags packed. So I ask you, are you committed to Jesus? How committed are you? Are you willing to sell everything that you own? Is there anything in your life that you are holding on to? Do you have anything that you say Lord, you can have all of me, but I’m not willing to give up _________?  [Read more…]

Christians Don’t Make Excuses For Their Sins

Seek and Save the Lost Gambling
Before I get into the message tonight, I have a confession to make. I sinned today doing the very thing that I’m preaching against tonight. God convicted me through my wife that what I was doing was wrong. You see, I belong to a business networking group and they sell raffle tickets and if your ticket is drawn, you get a chance to draw the winning card – the joker. They were down to six cards and the amount you could win was over $3,000. My message tonight is that Christians Don’t Make Excuses For Their Sins. When my wife asked me when I pay $5 for a chance to win $3,000, isn’t that’s gambling, I had to admit that it is. But before she asked that question and before I answered yes, I justified what I was doing.  [Read more…]

Angry Atheists Ministry Update July 19 2015

Angry Atheists. Benjamin and the woman beside him.

Angry Atheists. Benjamin and the woman beside him.

Rich and I joined Aaron, Diana, Elise and Andre from witnessing on the square in downtown Springfield, MO last Friday night. The crowd was small, but we sang hymns and lifted up the glorious name of Jesus anyway. Overall it was pretty quiet night. We handed out a few tracts and while Rich was preaching, a couple walked up and stood near me. I tried to hand them tracts. Benjamin (Pictured above on the left) refused a tract and the woman next to him (also pictured above) backed up a little bit and told me to get the tract away from her or she would burn. (Actually she has it backwards. She will burn forever unless she repents and puts her trust in Jesus).  [Read more…]

It Feels Really Good To Be Clean

Seek and Save the Lost Hauling Hay In Barn

Even though I sit behind a desk at work all day, I have physically worked hard at various jobs when I was younger. I’ve mowed lawns, hauled hay, cut wood and even did a little surveying work. I know water tastes great when you are working hard and after a long day of manual labor, it feels really good to be clean.  [Read more…]

Professing Christian Yells I’ll See You In Hell

Ministry Update July 12, 2015

Friday night was a real blessing to witness downtown in Springfield, MO with my friends. Along with Aaron, Erica, Diana and Elise, we praise God that Anton joined us. He’s the man that was broken last weekend and he went to Aaron’s church last Sunday. Anton sung hymns with us and he stayed for the preaching and helped us carry our stuff back to our vehicles. Then he asked that they make sure that they pick him up for church this Sunday an hour early for discipleship training. Kelly’s friend Alexander also joined us again Friday night, even though Kelly couldn’t make it.  [Read more…]

It’s Not Natural

Seek and Save the Lost Dr Putting Glove On Hand

Homosexuality goes against nature. It’s not natural. I went to the urologist last month. The doctor gave me a prostate examination where he proceeded to put a glove on his hand and put his finger in a part of my body that was only designed by God for excrement to come out of. My urologist was training a new doctor so I ended up being probed twice.  [Read more…]
