We all have someone that has authority over us, whether we want to admit it or not. Most of us have a boss. Some of you may live at home and are still under the authority of your parents. But even if you are one having authority, you most likely are subject to someone. The CEO’s of the largest corporations in America are typically subject to their shareholders and/or the board of directors.

Ministry Update 11/18/15
On Wed. Oct 14th Aaron and I were witnessing at MSU. Aaron had a student follow him around mocking him for while, but he kept preaching. Shortly after that, three guys walked in front of us while Aaron was still preaching and one of the guys had an “Are You Ready” cross. Well that’s something that you don’t see every day, so I looked closer and I recognized Jesse Boyd from North Carolina. James and Michael were with him and they came over and talked for a while. And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God (James 2:23). I too am a friend of God. Ministry Update October 11, 2015
Apathy. I could state this one word and end the update here. When Aaron and I witnessed at Missouri State University on Wednesday, we faced mainly apathetic students. Most students just walked by while we preached the Gospel in the open-air. More students refused tracts than took them. We mainly met apathy that day. [Read more…]
I think Slut Walk is a horrible name for your cause. Do you really want to be known as a slut walker? It sounds too much like street walker. I totally disagree with your method, but I understand your agenda. You are against the rape culture in America. This is something we can agree on.

This last week was a busy week. In fact, I was so busy at work on Monday that I didn’t get to join Aaron and several others from his church at Missouri State University. Ministry Update: September 27, 2015
Friday night September 25, 2015 we sang hymns to start the night off and then Kelly preached first. He preached against the pope, Rick Warren and T.D. Jakes – he preached against false prophets. He had a heckler get right in his face telling Kelly that he shouldn’t judge and sadly he was the typical judge not heckler. They know Matthew 7:1, but that must be one of the only verses that they know out of the whole Bible. Because if you read just a few verses farther, Jesus is saying don’t be a hypocrite. Don’t tell others they shouldn’t steal if you are a thief. Don’t condemn adultery if you are out committing adultery. Jesus is saying don’t be a hypocrite. [Read more…]
Sometimes we laugh at things that are funny. Sometimes we laugh when it is appropriate and sometimes we laugh when it isn’t. I’ve laughed sometimes at church and even at funerals (when the preacher or speaker said something funny that the deceased said or did). But other times we laugh when it isn’t appropriate. Sometimes I laugh when I’m nervous – and it’s at times when I shouldn’t laugh. Do you ever laugh when it’s inappropriate? Do you ever laugh when you shouldn’t? Are you laughing inappropriately tonight? Are you laughing at God tonight?
The thing about open-air preaching and street ministry is that you never know what’s going to happen. While I was at MSU open-air preaching on Wednesday September 16, 2015, a young man named Marcus walked across the grass in front of me and came up and shook my hand. It’s always great to see people that are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I also had a couple of people that walked by and mouthed off and kept walking which is more typical. But while I was bringing the message, I noticed three students handing out flyers near where I was standing. I didn’t pay much attention to them and kept preaching. As they were heading to class, one of them came up to me and handed me an invite to Slut Walk. [Read more…]
