Banned

You guys are banned from shopping at Other Mothers. Yes, the manager of Other Mothers banned Aaron and I from shopping at their store ever again. What was our unpardonable crime? We purchased items in his store before we witnessed next door at Planned Parenthood. What were the hateful, unloving words that we spoke in front of Planned Parenthood? Luke 2. That’s right, we sang carols and preached about the birth of Jesus. We did this two days before Christmas. (I will post the message – The Birth of Jesus in a couple of days). So it appears that Other Mothers, a store that sells used children’s clothing supports Planned Parenthood, an organization that kills off their potential clients. Jehovah’s Witness

Friday night December 18, 2015 Kelly was preaching on the box when a young man walked up and wanted to know why we were doing this. I handed him a tract and explained that we are out calling sinners to repent and trust Jesus. I could tell he’d been drinking even though he had a breath mint trying to cover it up. I asked him if he had repented and put his faith in Christ. Then he said that’s he’s bent over backwards begging God to take alcohol away from him.  [Read more…]

The last line of Nothing But the Blood of Jesus goes: This is all my hope and peace, Nothing but the blood of Jesus; This is all my righteousness, Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Aaron and I sung this hymn in front of Planned Parenthood recently. We’ve sung this song over 100 times out street witnessing. But on that particular day, the lyrics this is ALL MY RIGHTEOUSNESS, NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS really hit me.

Like many of our evangelistic friends around the country, we read the Bible, pray and prepare all week for witnessing. But sometimes witnessing doesn’t turn out the way we anticipate. Sometimes our best laid plans are thwarted, but that’s ok. Because our desire above all is to honor and glorify God and to be used by Him for His kingdom work and we ask that His will be done; whether it goes according to plan or whether our Lord changes everything or a combination of the two.  [Read more…]

“Which is more important: souls being saved or your studying?” This is the question Aaron asked the young college student who complained that our unamplified voices were disturbing her and others in the library. In the last few days there has been an outcry against the shooter in Colorado that killed three people and wounded many others. Personally I feel bad for Officer Swasey’s family. There’s also been an outcry over the Chicago policeman who shot the teenager 16 times in 15 seconds. As well as the outcry over the gang members in Chicago that killed the little nine year old boy – execution style. There has been an outcry over these heinous crimes as there should be. But at the same time, there’s been a deafening silence over the vicious murder of over 3,000 babies in the womb – every day in America. So I ask you, where’s the outcry? [Read more…]
