The Supreme Court blows it again. This last week marked the one year anniversary of the wicked court approving same sex marriage (which God does not approve) and this week they overturned the Texas legislation that made abortion clinics hold to the same standards as other medical facilities. We Don’t Want God We’re GayLast Friday night we were street preaching on the square. While Brother Jim was finishing up, a group of young women started mocking him. They continued mocking while Aaron preached. I was standing there handing out tracts and they hollered for me to come over and talk to them. So I walked over and said what do you want to talk about. One girl said about “this bull____ you guys are saying.” I said so you really don’t want to talk. Then one of the girls said we don’t want to hear about God tomorrow (at the gay pride event), to which I replied, we’ll we are going to talk about God. While Aaron, Kelly, Steven, Erica, Diana, Elise and I were singing hymns, a young teenager came up and asked if we were Christians? After being told yes, she walked back to her friend. Just about the time I started bringing a message, the same teenager came back over and wanted to talk about homosexuality. I invited them to listen to my message “We Don’t Want God, We’re Gay” and they sat down and listened for a while. But before long, they were a stirred up crowd and they started going crazy. Aaron, Brian, Jim, Jeremy, Erica and I witnessed at the gay pride event on the square on June 18, 2016. We heard many people yell “Love is love,” “Jesus loves everybody” and “I want to go to hell.” The Bible says God is love, not love is love. When people say Jesus loves everybody, they mean Jesus is ok with everyone and their sins, because He loves everybody. This is unbiblical. Anyone who says I want to go to Hell doesn’t understand the real Hell, the true Hell, the place of torments, the place of weeping and gnashing of teeth. They don’t understand the Hell of the Bible and they will wish that they would have heeded the warnings before they end up in that awful place. [Read more…]

I was going to call this Church on the Square, but we have church every Friday night in downtown Springfield. So I went with Amen Corner instead. Friday night Kelly, Steven, Aaron, Diana, Elise, Erica, Margaret and a couple of kids and I were witnessing downtown. We sang hymns, then Kelly and I brought messages before Aaron preached. About the time he started, another pastor sat down in front of us with several other people with him. They praised Jesus and said Amen the whole time Aaron preached. It was very encouraging.
