We heard four people yell hail Satan, had a flasher, a stool kicker and a reprobate mind on Friday night. Kelly started us off and he preached from Romans 1 when four different people yelled “Hail Satan” while he was preaching. He also received the typical calls “judge not lest ye be judged.” The funniest part about that was he actually addressed this right at the beginning of his message. One of the first things he said was if you feel judged tonight, we are not the ones judging you. If you feel like you are being judged it will be because of God’s word. “False, false, false.” “You are not God.” “Jesus didn’t write the Bible.” Yes, a couple Friday night actually chanted these things while I was preaching. Just to clear the record, I never said Jesus wrote the Bible, I said Jesus confirmed the Bible. Jesus constantly quoted the Old Testament. I obviously never claimed to be God. But their greatest sin was chanting false, false, false while I was reading the Bible. They even chanted this when I quoted John 3:16!  [Read more…]

Who is really on trial? I want you to picture a courtroom. There’s a judge, jury, bailiff, prosecutor, defendant and the gallery. Everyone is in their spot, except for the defendant. Instead of sitting at the defense table with his attorney, the defendant is sitting where the judge should be! Brain, Aaron and I witnessed at MSU last Wednesday. While I brought a message, two students at different times, yelled f you as they walked by. I pointed out that we are not to let any filthy communication proceed out of our mouth. After Brian pleaded with students for a while, he handed me a Gospel of John. Flag Burning, Transgender, Catholic, Atheist and Satanist

It was an honor to witness on Veteran’s Day at MU in Columbia, MO with several brothers in Christ from Kirksville and Rolla, MO as well as some from Illinois. We had a great day of witnessing on campus, even though some students were still protesting Trump’s victory by burning an American Flag. This happened before I got there, but my friends told me about it and the local news covered it too.

It was very sad, especially on Veteran’s Day. I’m grateful for every man and woman currently serving our country and for all who have served in the past. Because of your sacrifice, we still enjoy our freedom in our nation, so thank you for serving!  [Read more…]

We  had a great week of witnessing that ended with witnessing on the square Friday night. Kelly was preaching about the reality of Hell while his daughter handed out tracts. A drunk woman came up while Kelly was preaching and she was arguing over sin. Her boyfriend dragged her away and she was cussing and yelling trying to get back to Kelly, but her boyfriend prevailed. I bring this up because God used the angry woman to draw other people to us. [Read more…]
