Good To Be Back Home

Good To Be Back Home

Good To Be Back Home

It’s good to be back home and out witnessing again in downtown Springfield, MO. Aaron and I missed the previous two Fridays and we thank Kelly for coming out both those nights. We were back in our usual witnessing spot and our fellow neighbors didn’t let us down. Several Hail Satan’s were shouted out by people walking by, motorcyclists tried to drown out the preaching and singing with their loud stereos and some people stated that we weren’t witnessing the right way. But we had some encouragers too.  [Read more…]

Super Bowl Outreach 2017 Update

God Answered Prayers!

This update is about 100 evangelists from around the country converging on Houston, Texas for Super Bowl weekend and how God answered five months of prayers for the outreach. We believe three people got saved, one person was delivered out of a cult, thousands of Gospel tracts were handed out, several Bibles were handed out and many one to one conversations took place.  [Read more…]

Super Bowl Dark Side

Super Bowl Dark Side

I have to admit that there is a real excitement about the Super Bowl. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing at several other ones before and it really gets people hopped up. It is one of the largest spectacles in sports. It’s great to be here amid this large, enthusiastic crowd. But did you know that the Super Bowl has a dark side?  [Read more…]

The Super Bowl

The Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is coming up this weekend. The New England Patriots are playing the Atlanta Falcons. The last I heard, tickets were going for an average of $4,600 a piece. Can you imagine that? Can you imagine paying over $9,000 for you and someone else to attend the Super Bowl in person? I wouldn’t waste that amount of money on a game, even if I had that much to throw around. The price to get into the game is very high.  [Read more…]

Five To One

Ministry Update January 29, 2017

I’m not a gambler & I don’t believe in gambling, but I liked the five to one at MSU Jan 25th. Aaron & I had five encouragers and only one mocker. When the kid rode his bicycle near me mouthing off I just said May God bless you and kept on preaching. He didn’t know what to say after that.  [Read more…]

Land of Confusion

Land of Confusion

The message tonight is about America. It is about the land of confusion. But before I get into that discussion, I want to talk about the original land of confusion, the tower of Babel. There was only one language before the tower of Babel was built. But God stopped men from building the tower. We now have the different languages around the world and people inhabit different areas of the world because God confused the language of men.  [Read more…]

Don’t Touch Me

Don’t Touch Me

“Don’t touch me!” the drunk screamed at me Friday night. The ironic part was that he mumbled that he should knock me off the box right before he got to me and then he did try to knock me off. As I was falling backwards I put my forearm out to keep him from hitting me. The drunk then went ballistic. First cussing me out and then he got right in Aaron’s face, yelling and cussing him out. Then Justin tried to talk to the guy, but he just yelled and cussed him out too.  [Read more…]

God From Beginning To End

Alpha and Omega

God From Beginning To End

When you read the Holy Bible, you see God from beginning to end. This shouldn’t be surprising since the Bible is God’s word. 2 Timothy 3:16 says: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. All Scripture, the entire Bible is inspired by God, not just the red letters. Our Father God wrote the Bible through the Holy Spirit that gave men the words God wanted them to write.  [Read more…]

Encouraged

Encouraged

It was windy, but a warmer day on Wednesday when I witnessed in front of Planned Parenthood. I quoted Genesis 1:1. Then read the verses of the first chapter where God created the animals after their kind and man and woman after God’s own image. That’s when a woman pulled into the parking lot and walked up to me. I stopped reading Scripture and looked up at her. You never know if someone is a friend or a foe when they come up to you like that. But she smiled and shook my hand. She said something like may God bless you with many blessings. Just for being there in front of Planned Parenthood. I was greatly encouraged by that.  [Read more…]

Jesus Never Begged

January 10, 2017 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

Jesus Never Begged

Jesus never begged sinners to come to Him. He didn’t do it. Jesus never begged one time. Not once. He always spoke truth and left it at that. He didn’t plead with unrepentant sinners to come to Him. Jesus Christ knew who was His own and who would reject Him, so He never begged sinners to receive salvation.  [Read more…]
