Friday night Kelly, Aaron, Margaret, Diana, Elise, Desi and I started off singing hymns like normal. Then Kelly started us off with the first message. He had a car that kept driving by with a woman at the wheel and a man in the passenger seat. She laid on the horn and he stuck his head out the window motioning that he couldn’t hear Kelly. Stop trying and start trusting. I heard a sermon the other day by Pastor Adrian Rogers where he said these words. Stop trying and start trusting. This is my advice to you tonight, stop trying and start trusting. I plead with you to do this because most people think they are good. I have a friend in Rolla, MO who says that about 95% of the people he asks if they are good respond yes. He asks more people than I do, but I’d say it’s closer to 99% for me. Most people think they are good.
Friday night Allen, Aaron and I were joined by Serenity and Desi witnessing downtown. While the three guys were preaching, the girls handed out tracts. A couple of women walked up to them and the one asked Serenity and Desi “Are they holding you against your will?” Desi told them no, that Aaron was their pastor. [Read more…]
You can’t fool the Lord. God will judge the wicked. He is Holy, righteous and just. The Lord is all powerful, all knowing and ever present. God cannot tolerate sin and He does punish sin. Even though you may think that you are “getting away” with your sins, you are not. God knows all, sees all and will punish all; all those who refuse to repent and trust Jesus. [Read more…]
“Do you have a uterus?” asked the woman who pulled her SUV into Planned Parenthood’s parking lot. Yes, a woman drove into the parking lot just to ask, do you have a uterus. In other words, if my friends and I can’t have a baby then somehow that negates our right to stand against abortion. Hogwash. Life is precious and life is worth fighting for. What is your life? If I ask this question tonight, how will you answer? What is your life? You might tell me about your work. Maybe you are a carpenter, mechanic, teacher, or insurance salesman. When I ask you what your life is, maybe your answer has to do with your work. I know other people who are really into sports. Allen, Aaron, Bob and I witnessed at Planned Parenthood on Wednesday June 7, 2017. We started off singing a couple of hymns. There were six cars in the parking lot when we started off. I brought the first message and some women came out mocking us as they laughed and drove away. Other people passing by mouthed off and flipped us off. Two women in one car actually drove into the parking lot, flipped us off, mouthed off and drove off. I’m convinced that abortion and homosexuality get more people stirred up in America than any other topics. These two topics are the sacred cows of a very secular America. [Read more…]

Aaron and I were blessed to have Brian, Allen and Bob join us last Wednesday witnessing at Planned Parenthood. Andrew Jansen with the News-Leader (Springfield, Mo) interviewed Aaron and he also reported accurately what we were doing – protesting against Planned Parenthood nationwide killing 900 babies each and every day. It was wonderful having our brothers in Christ join us pleading for life at Planned Parenthood and it was a nice surprise that the reporter didn’t put any liberal spin on the video posted to the News-Leader’s website. The Gift Of God
The greatest gift ever given was Jesus Christ. God sent His only Son to suffer, bleed and die on a cruel cross for guilty sinners like us. Jesus willingly laid down His life. He was obedient unto death, even death on the cross. Jesus, the sinless Son of God took the punishment that you and I deserve. We have all sinned against God, yet while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. God offers eternal life to each and every person who repents and puts their trust in Jesus. [Read more…]
