Rich and I were the first ones to the witnessing spot Friday night and we talked to a couple of guys. The one young man was from Bolivar and I think his friend lives in Springfield. We gave them tracts and they both said they are Christians. The guy from Springfield wanted to know how effective open-air preaching is so we talked about obedience to God and the results are up to Him. Then a lady named Tracy said that she was looking for Allen. I told her that he’s probably on the square witnessing. She couldn’t find him, so she came back and witnessed with us until Allen found her later on. Pastor Joshua and I had a great time witnessing Friday night. It was not a circus-like atmosphere like the week before. In fact it was a pretty quiet night. Oh we had several mockers, but nothing major. One guy yelled at Pastor Joshua to shut up and then black smoke billowed out of the guy’s tailpipe as he drove away. A woman walking yelled at him and a couple of drivers yelled at me. But one car pulled up while I was bringing a message and it was a full carload of people. Spotless Lamb

I’m sure even non-Christians have heard of the 10 plagues that God sent upon Egypt during Old Testament times. The water was turned to blood, frogs, lice, flies, pestilence, boils, hail (with fire and thunder), locusts, darkness and the death of the firstborn of man and beast. It was only after the death of the first born that Pharaoh let the Israelites go. But did you know that not a single firstborn child or animal of the Israelites died that night? Why not? Friday night it was a real blessing to have Rich join Kelly, Conner and I witnessing downtown. Rich and his family have been living in China for nearly three years and they just got into Springfield on Wednesday and I’m sure he was still jet lagged. Now that I think of it, Rich witnessed with Kelly and I at MSU just a few days before he left for China in August 2015. So he came back and joined us the same he joined us before he left. Love The Right To Abort Babies

Evidently, the majority of voters in Ireland love the right to abort babies in the womb. Two-thirds of the votes were in favor of overturning the country’s ban on abortions. That’s an even higher percentage of people in Ireland who love the right to abort babies than Americans. According to the Pew Research Center in 2017, 57% of Americans favored abortions for any reason while 40% of Americans say abortion should be illegal in all or most cases.  [Read more…]

Conner, Kelly and I were handing out tracts Friday night before we started open-air preaching. I tried to hand tracts to two guys walking by and they refused the offer. I asked the one guy where he’d go if he died tonight. He replied, “I’m not going anywhere you are concerned.” The three of us just looked at each other. The gentleman couldn’t have been more wrong. My wife and I witnessed at Planned Parenthood on Wednesday and a pro-murder young man was angry over the Gospel being proclaimed in front of the abortion clinic. He was wearing a Subway cap and shirt and looked like he was walking to work. The young man became enraged while walking by on the other side of the road. He yelled something, but I couldn’t hear him. But obviously I could see when he raised both arms in the air and gave me one finger salutes on each hand. Rocks Would Cry Out

My friends and I lift up the precious name of Jesus because He is worthy of all honor, praise and glory. He is the only Redeemer. Jesus is the only Savior. He is the sinless Son of the living God. When the Lord made His triumphant entry into Jerusalem, the religious leaders didn’t like it that the crowd was praising Jesus and they said He should make the people quit. Since this was finals week at Missouri State University, I decided to hand out Gospel tracts and not open-air preach on Wednesday. I prayed and hoped that 200 students would take tracts and they did. Praise God for that and may the Lord bless and multiply the tracts. It was fun doing something a little different.
