Works Based Gospel
People wrongly accuse Seek and Save the Lost of promoting a works based Gospel. If this is what you think, I’m sorry to tell you that you are wrong. Jesus did not have a different message 2,000 years ago than He does today. Jesus said repent and believe the Gospel (Mark 1:15). God commands everyone to repent and put their trust in Jesus (Acts 17:30-31 and Acts 20:21). Those verses are just as relevant today as they were 2,000 years ago. Those verses are just as much for us today as they were for the hearers 2,000 years ago.
If you think Seek and Save the Lost promotes a works based salvation, you are wrong. Scripture is being quoted here. And make no mistake, salvation is of the Lord (Jonah 2:9). Rolfe Barnard used to say that a man has to get lost before he can be found. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. You must recognize your sinfulness and God’s Holiness before you will cry out to Him to save you.
Easy Believism Abhorred
I was a false convert for 33 years and I abhor easy believism. Even the demons believe and tremble and I assure you they will not be in Heaven. If you think that you can ask Jesus into your heart and continue living for the devil, you have missed salvation and you will miss Heaven. You are on the broad road headed toward splitting Hell wide open when you die. Without repentance, there is no salvation (2 Corinthians 7:10).
Repentance and faith are a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8-9). He gives every believer a measure of faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). So if you come to this website, you will hear Scripture. The same truth spoken 2,000 years ago. May God convict and convert lost souls. If Jesus is not your LORD and Savior, Repent and put your faith in Him. Jesus is LORD of all. He has a name above all names. Turn from your sins and put your trust in Him. Surrender your life completely to Jesus.
