God Is Not Indifferent

Earlier tonight a young lady told us that she’s a Christian and that’s not uncommon. Sometimes people tell us they are an atheist. Also while out street witnessing, sometimes we hear people say that they really aren’t for God and they aren’t against Him. They are just neutral to God; they can take Him or leave Him. But this simply isn’t true. No one is neutral to God. You are either for Him or against Him. Oh, you either love God and obey Him or you are an unrepentant sinner still spiritually dead in your trespasses and sins. You are not indifferent to God and God is not indifferent to you. If you’ve heard me open-air preaching before, I’m sure a lot of you think I talk too much about the wrath of God. I do talk about God’s wrath. It is true, it is real and you need to hear about it. Just The Facts

The start of the message is going to show my age because I’m going to reference the old TV show Dragnet. I remember watching reruns of the show as a kid in the late 1960’s and Joe Friday saying, “Just the facts ma’am.” My wife remembers this saying too. Even though I did a little research and found out that these words just the facts were never spoken on the show. How do you witness to an atheist? The same way you witness to anyone following a cult and the same way you witness to a false convert. You take the person through some of the 10 Commandments. God gave us the commandments for a reason. God is righteous and Holy and His standard is perfection.
