How Can God Know Evil Since He Is Perfect?

Ministry Update November 15, 2020

Toward the end of my message at MSU on Wednesday, a young man sat on a bench near me. I was explaining how most people think they are good, even though the Bible says none of us are good. The young man yelled what if he admits that he’s evil? Since he stated this nonchalantly, while eating a banana, I told him that it appeared that it would be false modesty in his case. I’ve been street witnessing for 10 years and I’ve seen a few people broken over their sins, but this young man wasn’t one of them. But it started our conversation and the young man went from emphatically saying God isn’t real to asking the question, “How can God know evil since He’s perfect?” [Read more…]

Look And Believe

Look And Believe

The very first message that Jesus preached, He said “Repent and believe the Gospel.” Romans 10:9-10 says: That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [Read more…]

Kentucky Derby Outreach 2019

Pure Hatred

Thirty-one evangelists from around the country participated in this year’s Kentucky Derby Outreach with Sports Fan Outreach International. Yes, it rained again, both days. But the weather was warmer than last year and we actually had periods through both days where it wasn’t raining. There was a lot of open-air preaching during the 12 ½ to 13 hour days Friday and Saturday as well as hundreds of Gospel tracts that went out, New Testaments were handed out as well as one to one conversations. There were many positives to this year’s outreach. But what struck me the most Saturday night (before and after the actual Derby race) was the pure hatred. The pure hatred toward those who were open-air preaching, the rest of us near by and especially the pure hatred toward God. [Read more…]

Your Worldview Is Illogical

Your Worldview Is Illogical

Your Worldview Is Illogical

If you believe in evolution, if you are an atheist, then your worldview is illogical. That’s right, I’m calling you out on your worldview. If you really believe that we evolved from nothing, that nothing created everything, your worldview is illogical. It makes no sense. Never in your life have seen something create itself out of nothing. This is illogical and intelligent students attending a university like Missouri State University should know better, no matter what atheistic professors are telling you.  [Read more…]

Ministry Update March 19, 2017

Friday night, Justin and his little brother Brayden joined me witnessing downtown. It was St. Patrick’s Day, so we weren’t too sure of what to expect. We started off singing a couple of hymns and then I brought a message We Are Not Used Car Salesmen. I wasn’t very far into the message when three young men stopped right in front of me. I asked them if they had a question and they all said no, they were just listening. But before long a couple of them said they felt like I was judging them and I shouldn’t judge them because they were good Catholics.  [Read more…]

Aaron and I witnessed at MSU last Wednesday. A couple walked by while I was just starting my message and I was talking about CEO’s of large corporations. The young woman started dancing as she walked by singing “I’m going to Hell, I’m going to Hell.” I interrupted my message and told her that she is headed to Hell if she doesn’t repent and trust Jesus and it won’t be all dancing and fun and games in Hell. The young man with her was also dancing and he yelled back “God loves everyone.” I told him that he needs to read the Bible, especially Psalm 7:11 and Psalm 5:5 which say that God is angry with the wicked every day and that God hates all workers of iniquity.

Do You Believe God?

Seek and Save the Lost Do You Believe God

Do you believe God? Please notice I’m not asking if you believe in God.  According to a Barna Survey in 2011, 86% of Americans say they believe in God. (That number has probably dropped since 2011). No, I’m asking you if you believe God.  [Read more…]
