The apostle Paul, writing these verses through the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, asks the questions: 1. How can they call on the one they have not believed in? How can you call upon the name of the Lord Jesus if you don’t believe in Him? How can you be saved if you’ve never repented and put your trust in Him? “Aren’t all references to homosexuality in the Bible referring to rape?” asked Brandon. After talking to him for nearly an hour we got around to his sin that he doesn’t want to give up. Prior to this, he asked every question that he could think of. During our conversation, I kept trying to bring him back to the fact that he will stand before God on Judgment Day and none of these burning questions that he has today will matter at that time. He will give an account of every sin in thought, word or deed that he’s ever committed and questions about those who have never heard the Gospel will not be part of the discussion on the great and terrible day of the Lord. Many atheists hate God so much that they won’t even say “Bless you” when someone sneezes because it’s too close to or a shortened version of “God bless you.” So instead of saying this; many atheists say “Gesundheit!” which is German for “[to your] health.” Along these lines, what do atheists say when a loved one is really sick or has a serious ailment? We have all heard the expression “good as gold.” Sometimes it means that you can take it to the bank. Whatever item you are talking about is genuine, it is the real deal – it is as solid or as good as gold.
