I was the first one of our group on the square Friday night and two young people started talking to me. The young woman was asking spiritual questions, but the young man kept making vile and crude remarks. He was so bad she actually pulled him away and walked on. The last line of Nothing But the Blood of Jesus goes: This is all my hope and peace, Nothing but the blood of Jesus; This is all my righteousness, Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Aaron and I sung this hymn in front of Planned Parenthood recently. We’ve sung this song over 100 times out street witnessing. But on that particular day, the lyrics this is ALL MY RIGHTEOUSNESS, NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS really hit me.
Yes, Jesus was born in a manger. He was fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life and He suffered God’s wrath over sinners like you and me before He died a cruel death on the cross. He rose victoriously from the grave, defeating sin, death, Hell and Satan and He sits at the right hand of God the Father. He is the only Savior. Jesus is the King of kings. Have you come to Jesus? Have you repented and put your faith in Him? Are you saved? He is the risen Savior and His reign will no know end. Jesus will reign forever. Repent and believe the Gospel.
