Whether You Listen Or Not

Whether You Listen Or Not

I was a sneaky child when I was little. Yes, I was a rebellious child. My parents and teachers would tell me what to do, but many times I wouldn’t listen. So I received many spankings. I guess you could say that I wasn’t very smart because most times I still wouldn’t listen. I had a rebellious spirit. But the adults in my life still spoke truth to me, they told me what I needed to hear, whether I listened or not. Well, my friend and I are out here tonight sharing truth, God’s truth with you and we are doing so whether you listen or not.  [Read more…]

Stupid Questions Ignorant Statements

I remember several teachers when I was younger that used to say, “There are no stupid questions.” Now I understand that they were trying to encourage students to not be afraid to ask anything, but the statement is false. There are stupid questions There are stupid questions and ignorant statements.  [Read more…]

Repentance and Remission of Sins

Repentance and Remission of Sins

This coming Sunday is Easter. I prefer to call it Resurrection Sunday because it is the day we celebrate Jesus rising from dead. Easter is not about the Easter Bunny or finding eggs. No, it’s about the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.  [Read more…]

Ministry Update April 16, 2017

It’s hard to describe Friday night. We had the usual mockers saying hail Satan, f you, you’re judging me, motorcyclist and drivers revving engines to drown us out as well as a parked motorcyclist blaring his music. We also had the guy back that mooned us – again and a group of girls started dancing together close to where we were witnessing. But praise God there were around 15 to 17 of us witnessing and the preachers kept preaching!  [Read more…]

Life In The Blood

Life In The Blood

I don’t know about you, but I get squeamish at the sight of blood, especially my own. One morning I woke up and a blood vessel had burst in my eye. When I looked in the mirror and saw dried blood coming from my eye, I immediately passed out. When I woke up, my wife was standing over me and I kept looking at her wondering why she was upside down. Then I realized that I was lying flat on my back on the bathroom floor. (Luckily I missed the corner of the wall by an inch or less).  [Read more…]

Unworthy of Everlasting Life

September 1, 2015 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

The Bible is supernatural. It is the living word of God. Christians understand this, but unbelievers don’t. My Christian friends will understand what I’m saying tonight. I was reading in Acts the other day, Acts 13:46 and the words jumped off the page at me: judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life.  [Read more…]

Whosoever Believes in Him

February 8, 2013 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

If you are an unrepentant sinner, I beg you, turn away from your sins and put your faith in Jesus. Surrender your life completely to Him. Don’t put this off. Life is short. You never know when your next breath will be your last one. Over 150,000 people die every day. Most of them didn’t wake up today expecting today to be their last day on this earth. Get right with God right now! Don’t put this off.

Acts 10_43

Whosoever believes in Him shall receive forgiveness of their sins and God grants them everlasting life. Belief is more than just intellectual, head knowledge. We know this because in the book of James it says that even the demons believe (and tremble) and we know that demons will not be in Heaven. Repent and believe the Gospel. Turn away from your sins and trust Jesus to save you. Submit your life to Him. Won’t you surrender to Jesus Christ our Lord today?
