It rained Friday all afternoon and right up to the time I started witnessing downtown. Even though it was Art Walk, there weren’t many people downtown. I guess the rain kept most people away. With these updates, many times I say what a blessed night we had witnessing downtown, and Friday night was no exception. I say this frequently because it is true. Every night is different and we never know what we are going to see and hear. Friday night we were blessed with several encouragers, several mockers and a great conversation at the end. Some weeks street witnessing are really exciting. Others are more on the dull side. This week witnessing was quiet all around. Polly and I witnessed downtown in Springfield, MO in the rain on Friday night. Obviously, there weren’t a lot of people out milling around, but there were a few. A couple of people up the street appeared to be listening to part of the message, but overall it was rather quiet. It also was raining enough that we really didn’t get to hand out any tracts. But the Gospel went forth and I pray that God was honored by the precious name of Jesus Christ being lifted up in the open-air. [Read more…]
I witnessed at Planned Parenthood on Wednesday July 27, 2016 and the strange thing was Planned Parenthood was the quiet part. A few people drove by and honked – mainly opposed to me being there, but a couple were supportive (you can tell the difference). One person drove by and yelled encouraging words and another not so much. But overall Planned Parenthood was quiet. A few people went in and out and I kept preaching against Planned Parenthood. I continued preaching against murdering little babies in the womb. The people coming and going didn’t say anything including a few workers that were probably going to lunch. [Read more…]
