I would die of cancer before being diagnosed at Planned Parenthood. This is not hyperbole, I’m 100% serious. This thought obviously never crossed my mind until last Wednesday. Doug and I were the first ones there at Planned Parenthood to witness and before we even got started, a very large man walked up to us and started chastising us for being there. “You’re causing a woman to die because you are here!” Excuse me? “Women are afraid to come here while you are out here so women may die of cancer because of you.”  [Read more…]

Turn Away At Planned Parenthood

Allen, Aaron, Bob and I witnessed at Planned Parenthood on Wednesday June 7, 2017. We started off singing a couple of hymns. There were six cars in the parking lot when we started off. I brought the first message and some women came out mocking us as they laughed and drove away. Other people passing by mouthed off and flipped us off. Two women in one car actually drove into the parking lot, flipped us off, mouthed off and drove off. I’m convinced that abortion and homosexuality get more people stirred up in America than any other topics. These two topics are the sacred cows of a very secular America.  [Read more…]

Pleading For Life At Planned Parenthood

Ministry Update June 4, 2017

Aaron and I were blessed to have Brian, Allen and Bob join us last Wednesday witnessing at Planned Parenthood. Andrew Jansen with the News-Leader (Springfield, Mo) interviewed Aaron and he also reported accurately what we were doing – protesting against Planned Parenthood nationwide killing 900 babies each and every day. It was wonderful having our brothers in Christ join us pleading for life at Planned Parenthood and it was a nice surprise that the reporter didn’t put any liberal spin on the video posted to the News-Leader’s website.  [Read more…]

Encouraged

It was windy, but a warmer day on Wednesday when I witnessed in front of Planned Parenthood. I quoted Genesis 1:1. Then read the verses of the first chapter where God created the animals after their kind and man and woman after God’s own image. That’s when a woman pulled into the parking lot and walked up to me. I stopped reading Scripture and looked up at her. You never know if someone is a friend or a foe when they come up to you like that. But she smiled and shook my hand. She said something like may God bless you with many blessings. Just for being there in front of Planned Parenthood. I was greatly encouraged by that.  [Read more…]

On Wednesday Aaron and I witnessed at Planned Parenthood. There were several cars there when we got there. One lady leaving the shopping center next door yelled at me while I was bringing a message. She was our one mocker. I really couldn’t hear her very well, but I think she was saying that I was stupid because they don’t perform abortions at Planned Parenthood in Springfield. I told her they do give women the morning after pill and they refer them to St. Louis or Kansas City where abortions are performed. (Planned Parenthood performed abortions in Springfield 25 years ago and they are pushing to start doing them here again. God forbid! May it not be so.).  [Read more…]

Planned Parenthood Was The Quiet Part?

I witnessed at Planned Parenthood on Wednesday July 27, 2016 and the strange thing was Planned Parenthood was the quiet part. A few people drove by and honked – mainly opposed to me being there, but a couple were supportive (you can tell the difference). One person drove by and yelled encouraging words and another not so much. But overall Planned Parenthood was quiet. A few people went in and out and I kept preaching against Planned Parenthood. I continued preaching against murdering little babies in the womb. The people coming and going didn’t say anything including a few workers that were probably going to lunch.  [Read more…]

As we ended the night witnessing we were walking back to our vehicles and Summer was carrying a sign when a guy yelled out of his car window “Jesus is Awesome!” Yes He is and that was a great way to end the night. Amen Corner

I was going to call this Church on the Square, but we have church every Friday night in downtown Springfield. So I went with Amen Corner instead. Friday night Kelly, Steven, Aaron, Diana, Elise, Erica, Margaret and a couple of kids and I were witnessing downtown. We sang hymns, then Kelly and I brought messages before Aaron preached. About the time he started, another pastor sat down in front of us with several other people with him. They praised Jesus and said Amen the whole time Aaron preached.
