My friends and I lift up the precious name of Jesus because He is worthy of all honor, praise and glory. He is the only Redeemer. Jesus is the only Savior. He is the sinless Son of the living God. When the Lord made His triumphant entry into Jerusalem, the religious leaders didn’t like it that the crowd was praising Jesus and they said He should make the people quit. Do Atheists Need A New Name?

Do Atheists need a new name? I run into people all the time who claim that they are atheists and they vehemently say, “God is not real” or “there is no God.” They are very adamant in their stance. Atheists do not believe that God exists. The original meaning in the Greek is without God. But atheists aren’t neutral to this God they say doesn’t exist. Ministry Update January 14, 2017

Friday night was cold; it was 22 degrees and felt like 8 degrees with the wind chill. I thought it might be good practice for the Super Bowl Outreach coming up the first part of February, since the Super Bowl is going to be in Minneapolis, MN this year. I’m glad I got get a chance to see a little of what it might be like, because just having my fingers uncovered for 5 minutes made them so cold and stiff that I couldn’t turn the pages of the Bible. I think the post No Other Name Under Heaven was just the second one I posted. It’s a short one but it gets to the heart of the matter. What name are you trusting in? There is no other name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Jesus, precious Jesus is the only Savior. Is He your Lord and Savior? Have you repented and surrendered your life fully and completely to Him?

When I was a kid, it seems like school books used to claim that the universe was 4.5 million years old. Now, the latest theories are that the universe is around 14 billion years old. (Some even claim up to 20 billion years old). It seems the harder the secular society tries to explain the age of the universe; the answer tends to be just add more billions and billions of years. The Bible clearly proves that Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, is the Christ. He is The Anointed One. He is the Savior of the world. What Would Jesus Do (WWJD) was a popular phrase back in the 1990s. Many people wore WWJD bracelets back then. I did a little research and found that Charles Spurgeon used this phrase in a sermon in 1891 and he attributed it Thomas a Kempis who lived in the 1400s! So, the phrase What Would Jesus Do? is not new. But instead of focusing on what would Jesus do, how about we concentrate on what Jesus said? What He’s already told us to do?  [Read more…]
