Magnify The Lord

As Christians, we are to magnify the Lord. To my fellow Christians, do you magnify the Lord? In other words, do you praise God? Do you exalt or extol the Lord? Do you lift of up the precious name of Jesus to others? Do you share the Gospel with this lost and dying world? Do you magnify Jesus – the name above every other name?

Psalm 70:4 says: Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. In Luke Chapter 1, the angel Gabriel tells Mary that she is going to have a son by the power of the Holy Spirit and that He will be a King and his kingdom will reign forever. Mary went to see her cousin Elizabeth and Mary spoke these words: My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour (Luke 1:46-47). [Read more…]

Do You Know Jesus?

Do you know Jesus? Have you repented and put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ? The question isn’t do you go church or were you raised in church? The question isn’t do you know about Jesus? Do you know how He fed the 5,000, walked on water, calmed the storm or healed the sick or raised the dead? No the question isn’t do you know about Jesus or know about the things that He has done, but do you know Jesus? Is He Lord of your life?

John 1:1-10 states: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. Anticipation

It’s hard to believe that we are in the year 2020. There’s a lot of anticipation for the new year. Some people are planning on getting into better physical shape, eating better, or maybe they have prospects of a new job. Others may be getting a driver’s license or going to college this year. The Way Of All The Earth

Moses led the Israelites out Egypt, but he died and did not enter into the promised land of Canaan. He died because he sinned while leading the Israelites in the wilderness for 40 years. Moses disobeyed God’s direct order, so he died for his sin and couldn’t enter into Canaan. But Joshua led the Israelites into Canaan and God delivered the Canaanites into his hand. Can a prophet lie? In today’s world of tolerance, can a prophet lie and we just forgive that prophet because we all make mistakes? Do we forgive and forget? I’m asking these questions because I’ve had many unbelievers tell me that they think Jesus was just a good person who said some good things to live by, but they don’t believe in the supernatural things that He did.
