Do All Roads Lead To God?

Ministry Update August 5, 2018

As Pastor Joshua was finishing up the first message of the night, three Muslims came up and started talking to us. The young man that did most of the talking said at one point that all roads lead to God. We politely tried to tell him that all roads do not lead to God. Jesus said that He is the way, truth and life and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). Jesus is very exclusive and He is the only Savior.  [Read more…]

Bowing To Jesus

Bowing To King Jesus

Bowing To Jesus

I willingly bow my knee to King Jesus. Do you? Is Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior tonight or do you think that you are still in charge? Who or what is first in your life? We all serve someone or something. If Jesus is not the supreme ruler of your life, then you are serving Satan, your fleshly lusts or the world.  [Read more…]

Spiritual Battle

Ministry Update July 29, 2018

My fellow Christians, are you aware of the spiritual battle going on right here in Springfield, MO? Yes, we live in the Bible Belt, but that doesn’t mean everyone is saved, not even every professing Christian. Not only that, but Satan is hard at work luring young people farther and father into sin. There is a real battle going on. Are you aware of it? Are you in the battle?  [Read more…]

No Condemnation No Fear My Chains Are Gone

No Condemnation No Fear

Romans 8 contains some wonderful Bible verses, but tonight I want to concentrate on the first verses that deal with no condemnation no fear. I’m very partial to Romans 8:1 because this is the Bible verse that God used to convert me, to save me. I absolutely love Romans 8:1.  [Read more…]

Tender Mercy Of Our God

The other day I was reading the Bible, specifically Luke 1 and the words “tender mercy of our God” jumped out at me. The tender mercy of our God. These are extremely wonderful, beautiful words. Our God is so merciful that tonight I want to talk about the tender mercy of our God.  [Read more…]

Hot Preaching!

Ministry Update July 8, 2018

It is a real privilege and honor to lift up the name of Jesus in the open-air with Kelly, Conner and Pastor Joshua and it’s been great having Rich join us witnessing while he’s visiting from China. Every now and then we get accused of being too harsh and preaching too hard. But Friday night I believe we had Spirit-filled, hot preaching.  [Read more…]

Is That A Bible In Your Hands?

Is That A Bible In Your Hands?

Ministry Update June 15, 2018

Pastor Joshua and I had a great time witnessing Friday night. It was not a circus-like atmosphere like the week before. In fact it was a pretty quiet night. Oh we had several mockers, but nothing major. One guy yelled at Pastor Joshua to shut up and then black smoke billowed out of the guy’s tailpipe as he drove away. A woman walking yelled at him and a couple of drivers yelled at me. But one car pulled up while I was bringing a message and it was a full carload of people. The driver leaned over and yelled, “Is that a Bible in your hands?”  [Read more…]

From Mockers To Hot Chocolate

Ministry Update April 22, 2018

It was great having Kelly and his son Steven join me witnessing downtown Friday night. We basically went from having mockers to someone stopping to give us hot chocolate. I got downtown first, so I handed out tracts until Kelly and Steven got there. Since I had some miscellaneous tracts, I just handed them out. I mostly had the 101 World’s Funniest One Liners and most people took them when I told them I had some jokes for them.  [Read more…]

My Lord And My God

My Lord And My God

We just celebrated Easter the first of the month and Easter is also known as Resurrection Sunday. I personally like Resurrection Sunday because it more accurately describes why we celebrate the event. Followers of Jesus are celebrating that not only did Jesus suffer, bleed and die for our sins, but He also rose from the grave. We serve a risen Savior. Do you remember what the apostle Thomas said when he saw the risen Lord?  [Read more…]
