Is Open-Air Preaching Radical?

Is Open-Air Preaching Radical?

I’ve always heard that only 2% of Christians share their faith in Jesus with others. Now some of the old-time preachers also used to say that they believed only 5% to 10% of people in churches were actually saved. Their estimates don’t seem unrealistic to me. If you have truly received everlasting life, how can you keep that to yourself? But let’s just use the 2% number tonight. If only 2% of professing Christians share their faith, how low of percentage do you think it is for Christians who do open-air preaching? So I ask you tonight: Is open-air preaching radical?  [Read more…]

Super Bowl Outreach 2017 Update

God Answered Prayers!

This update is about 100 evangelists from around the country converging on Houston, Texas for Super Bowl weekend and how God answered five months of prayers for the outreach. We believe three people got saved, one person was delivered out of a cult, thousands of Gospel tracts were handed out, several Bibles were handed out and many one to one conversations took place.  [Read more…]

The Super Bowl

The Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is coming up this weekend. The New England Patriots are playing the Atlanta Falcons. The last I heard, tickets were going for an average of $4,600 a piece. Can you imagine that? Can you imagine paying over $9,000 for you and someone else to attend the Super Bowl in person? I wouldn’t waste that amount of money on a game, even if I had that much to throw around. The price to get into the game is very high.  [Read more…]

God From Beginning To End

Alpha and Omega

God From Beginning To End

When you read the Holy Bible, you see God from beginning to end. This shouldn’t be surprising since the Bible is God’s word. 2 Timothy 3:16 says: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. All Scripture, the entire Bible is inspired by God, not just the red letters. Our Father God wrote the Bible through the Holy Spirit that gave men the words God wanted them to write.  [Read more…]

Does God Punish Sinners?

Does God Punish Sinners?

More times than not when we are street witnessing, someone will yell out “God loves everybody.” They say this to justify their sin. In other words, it doesn’t matter if you continue living a sinful lifestyle, God loves you anyway. But is this biblical? Does God punish sinners?  [Read more…]

Who Is Really On Trial?

Who Is Really On Trial?

Who is really on trial? I want you to picture a courtroom. There’s a judge, jury, bailiff, prosecutor, defendant and the gallery. Everyone is in their spot, except for the defendant. Instead of sitting at the defense table with his attorney, the defendant is sitting where the judge should be! Don’t you imagine that it wouldn’t take very long for the bailiff to snatch that defendant out there and slap handcuffs on him? Can you see how absurd this would be?  [Read more…]

Busy Week of Street Witnessing

Ministry Update November 6, 2016

angry-woman-nov-4-2016

We  had a great week of witnessing that ended with witnessing on the square Friday night. Kelly was preaching about the reality of Hell while his daughter handed out tracts. A drunk woman came up while Kelly was preaching and she was arguing over sin. Her boyfriend dragged her away and she was cussing and yelling trying to get back to Kelly, but her boyfriend prevailed. I bring this up because God used the angry woman to draw other people to us. [Read more…]

Do  You Have Peace With God?

Do you have peace with God? The Bible says most people proclaim themselves good in their own eyes, so maybe it’s because most people think they are good, that they presume to have peace with God.  [Read more…]

Preaching At People

Last Wednesday a young man came up to me while I was reading about Paul’s conversion in Acts 9 and he opened his Bible and read to me: And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward (Matthew 6:5).  [Read more…]

Professor Brings Class Out To Meet Open-Air Preacher

Ministry Update September 18, 2016

Aaron, Brian and I witnessed at Missouri State University on September 14, 2016. The “free hug” professing Christians took our spot where we normally witness. So we witnessed at Strong Hall (where they have religious classes). We preached a couple of times and when Aaron went the second time, a crowd gathered and one of Aaron’s former professor brought her class out to meet him. They listened to his message and then she introduced her students to Aaron because she wanted them to see that the man is mild mannered compared to the open-air preacher. Yes, Aaron preaches hard, because eternal souls are in the balance. But he is mild mannered when talking about spiritual matters. Aaron stayed there answering questions for over an hour and a half. May God continue working on the lost souls that heard the Gospel.  [Read more…]
