It was wonderful Friday night to have seven of us downtown witnessing. Conner brought Pastor Joshua with him and Thomas came with his brother John, who join Kelly, Steven and I. Conner and I were the first ones there, so I read the tract Poor Peddler (a Chapel Library tract) while we were waiting on the rest of the group. Doesn’t Take A Lot Of People To Worship God

Ministry Update March 26 2017

Friday night was a rainy night, but we realized that it doesn’t take a lot of people to worship God. Kelly, Aaron, Erica, Elise, Serenity and I had a wonderful time worshiping God even though there weren’t a lot of people on the square. We sang hymns and us guys preached. Friday night was full of noise! Noise! Noise! No, I’m not talking about our little 37 watt amplifiers. I’m talking about the motorcyclists revving their engines and cranking their stereo’s up. Several cars and trucks revved their engines too. It was very noisy downtown. I understand that lost people don’t like hearing the Gospel. The Bible says it is foolishness to those who are perishing. But a lot of this animosity was directed toward us while we were singing hymns. We also heard many hail Satan’s and other derogatory comments.  [Read more…]

We encountered a couple of strange ones while witnessing downtown last Friday night. One man didn’t want to tell me his name so I called him Alien. After Aaron , Diana, Elise and I sang several hymns (actually three of us sung while Elise played the violin), I brought a message about praising Jesus. In one part of the message I said Heaven would be like Hell to those who hate God because in Heaven we are going to praise Jesus for all of eternity.

We started last Friday night off like we always do singing hymns. You could tell it was going to be wild when people yelled out of their car windows while we were singing hymns. How crazy is that? Ministry Update November 8, 2015

“Aren’t all references to homosexuality in the Bible referring to rape?” asked Brandon. After talking to him for nearly an hour we got around to his sin that he doesn’t want to give up. Prior to this, he asked every question that he could think of. During our conversation, I kept trying to bring him back to the fact that he will stand before God on Judgment Day and none of these burning questions that he has today will matter at that time. He will give an account of every sin in thought, word or deed that he’s ever committed and questions about those who have never heard the Gospel will not be part of the discussion on the great and terrible day of the Lord.  [Read more…]

Woman Wont Let Kelly Talk

Kelly and his son were the first ones downtown Friday night (and Kelly’s son wants to come downtown and hand out tracts – praise God!) and I joined them, so we handed out tracts before our other friends showed up. In the picture above, Kelly handed the lady a tract and he was trying to ask her spiritual questions, but she kept talking so much about random things, I’m not sure that he made much headway.
