Sin Righteousness Judgment

Jesus told His disciples that He was going to suffer, die and rise from the grave (Mark 8:31). Our Lord told them that He is the Messiah, that He is the Savior. He also told them that He would send the Holy Spirit to comfort and guide them.  [Read more…]

Deceitful Lusts

Deceitful Lusts

The Bible talks about lusting as being deceitful. Are you caught up in deceitful lusts? Why are you downtown tonight? Are you here to fulfill the pleasures of the flesh? Are you trying to satisfy the lusts of your heart? Will what you are seeking tonight provide you with long lasting joy? Are you deceived tonight?  [Read more…]

Antiquing

Antiquing

My wife and I used to go antiquing all the time or as we say in the Ozarks – antiquin “anteken.” I used to collect rock albums and my wife used to collect millafore boxes and picture frames. It was fun when I found an album that I’d tried to find for a long time and I really loved it when I found one that was priced right. The millafore boxes that my wife collected were really hard to find. So it was exciting just to see one, no matter how much they were asking for it, but we’d get really excited if we found what she collected in the price range that we could afford.  [Read more…]

This Isn’t How You Reach Our Generation

“What are you saying?” “Why are you doing this?” “Why are you yelling?” “Tell them about the love of Jesus.” “Nobody’s listening to you.” “This isn’t how you reach our generation.” “You need to talk to us one to one.” These were some of the comments that I heard last Wednesday at MSU, mainly from six young men that came over and talked to me after I finished open-air preaching. I didn’t point out the irony that they questioned why I was open-air preaching and yet six of them stopped to talk to me.  [Read more…]

Ministry Update December 13, 2015

Like many of our evangelistic friends around the country, we read the Bible, pray and prepare all week for witnessing. But sometimes witnessing doesn’t turn out the way we anticipate. Sometimes our best laid plans are thwarted, but that’s ok. Because our desire above all is to honor and glorify God and to be used by Him for His kingdom work and we ask that His will be done; whether it goes according to plan or whether our Lord changes everything or a combination of the two.  [Read more…]

Who Crucified Jesus Christ?

September 10, 2013 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

Jesus on the Cross (1)

Before we get into who crucified Jesus, let’s look at who Jesus is. Jesus is the Son of God. He lives in Heaven and He always has been and always will be. He was born of the virgin Mary and the Holy Spirit a little over 2,000 years ago. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life. He never sinned in His thoughts, words or deeds. He did what you and I could never do and that is He kept the 10 Commandments to the letter of the Law and in the spirit of the Law. [Read more…]

Are You a Tiptoe Christian?

(Christian: Do you tiptoe back and forth across the line to your old sins?)

Christian, before you were soundly saved, you lived for the pleasures of the flesh. Then when God opened your spiritually blind eyes, when He unhardened your hard heart, He granted you repentance toward Himself and faith toward Jesus Christ our Lord. When God saved you, then you were at the starting line. (This post is for Christians. If you are not a follower of Jesus, please go to My Testimony or Ten Commandments). [Read more…]

Is Jesus Ruining New Orleans?

February 5, 2013 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

Through the Super Bowl Outreach, 115 street preachers converged on New Orleans a few days before the Super Bowl. We were grouped together in ten groups and we were strategically placed on corners with high foot traffic near the convention center, the French Quarter and the Marketplace. [Read more…]

By All Means

December 27, 2012 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

In 1 Corinthians 9:22, the apostle Paul said that he tried to reach the lost by all means possible. Do we have this same attitude toward people who are lost and on the road to Hell? Do we proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ by all means? Some means? Any means at all?

How will you share your faith with others today? Even if you have no evangelism training at all, you can share your testimony with others. Be bold as a lion in Jesus Christ our Lord through the Holy Spirit and witness to someone today – by any means.
