Jesus Never Begged

Jesus Never Begged

Jesus never begged sinners to come to Him. He didn’t do it. Jesus never begged one time. Not once. He always spoke truth and left it at that. He didn’t plead with unrepentant sinners to come to Him. Jesus Christ knew who was His own and who would reject Him, so He never begged sinners to receive salvation.  [Read more…]

Life In The Blood

I don’t know about you, but I get squeamish at the sight of blood, especially my own. One morning I woke up and a blood vessel had burst in my eye. Then I realized that I was lying flat on my back on the bathroom floor. (Luckily I missed the corner of the wall by an inch or less).  [Read more…]

Why Do We Do This?

Why do we do this? Why do we come out here week after week and share the Gospel? Why do we do this when we know we are going to be verbally attacked or every now and then even physically attacked? Why do we do this when we know we are more than likely to encounter mockers and scoffers? Why do we do this?  [Read more…]

Expired Cough Medicine

Recently I took some expired cough medicine. I didn’t feel good so I went to the medicine cabinet and found the cough syrup. I looked at the expiration date and saw that it had expired over a year ago! I felt so bad, that I took the medicine anyway. [Read more…]

Jesus Died at a Really Young Age

November 21, 2012 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

Jesus was around 30 years old when He began His ministry (Luke 3:23) – preaching the Gospel and healing the sick (Matthew 4:23). His ministry lasted only about three years. Jesus died at a really young age. Do you appreciate what Jesus did for guilty sinners? Have you received the free gift of salvation? (Titus 3:5-7). If not, what’s holding you back?
