Why The Message Outrageous Puppy Killer?

This message was posted in January 2013 because it truly was horrific. A young man in Washington, D.C. was sentenced to four months in jail for killing a little puppy. Why did he do it? He was mad at the dog’s owner, so he viciously killed the poor, little, defenseless puppy. This is truly awful. People should be outraged over such behavior. We must stand up for the rights of animals! As horrible as this story is, there’s something even worse. Much worse. Three thousand little babies are killed every day in America! Little babies, poor, little, defenseless babies are viciously murdered every day. This is horrific. But where’s the outcry? Why aren’t people hopping mad about this? Why does this travesty, this injustice continue unabated? It does so because of choice, because of a woman’s “choice” to kill her unborn child. [Read more…]

My favorite part of the United States Declaration of Independence is: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” I love how the signers mention the Creator (God) and that everyone is created equal and we have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The older Asian gentleman walking toward me had taken a Gospel tract the week before at MSU, so I really didn’t think he would take another one. But to my surprise, he did. He actually stopped when I handed him the Chapel Library Tract Coming To Christ, by Thomas Willcox. Since he stopped and looked at it, I asked him if Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior. There was an Awaken The Dawn event in the park next to our normal witnessing spot Friday night, so Conner and I witnessed at the corner of South and Walnut. We encountered many mockers there and after we both brought messages and handed out tracts, we went back to our normal witnessing spot. There, we also encountered more mockers. In 2 Chronicles 32:1-22, the Bible tells us of an Assyrian king that greatly misjudged God. King Sennacherib had defeated many nations when he set his sights on Judah. Sennacherib even taunted the people of the city of Jerusalem, telling them not to let their king – Hezekiah deceive them into thinking that his God could withstand him.
