Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death!
Of course Patrick Henry said those famous words, “Give me liberty or give me death.” This is what we’ve been taught in school and this is the part we remember. But what Patrick Henry really said was this, “Is life so dear or peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God!
