Jesus never begged sinners to come to Him. He didn’t do it. Jesus never begged one time. Not once. He always spoke truth and left it at that. He didn’t plead with unrepentant sinners to come to Him. On January 22, 1973 the United States Supreme Court ruled in favor of a woman’s right to have an abortion. Since that decision 43 years ago, 58 million babies have been brutally legally murdered! That is a staggering number. The population of America is around 320 million and we have brutally legally murdered 58 million children. We make the monster Hitler look like a wannabe murderer extraordinaire. 58 million babies that God knit together in their mother’s wombs, who were made in the very image of God never had the chance to breathe the breath of life because they were viciously and mercilessly murdered in the place that should have been the safest place on earth. I’m sorry that we missed the Ask an Atheist a Question Event that just ended because I have a question for you. Are you damned? I know this is a strange way to start the message, but I want you to really think about this. Are you damned? No you say? How do you know? What are you counting on? Your own goodness? Are you positive that you are not damned because you are basically a good person? How do you know that you aren’t damned?
Jesus said, “Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart (Matthew 5:27-28). Yes, Jesus was born in a manger. He was fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life and He suffered God’s wrath over sinners like you and me before He died a cruel death on the cross. He rose victoriously from the grave, defeating sin, death, Hell and Satan and He sits at the right hand of God the Father. He is the only Savior. Jesus is the King of kings. Have you come to Jesus? Have you repented and put your faith in Him? Are you saved? He is the risen Savior and His reign will no know end. Jesus will reign forever. Repent and believe the Gospel.
