The Second Adam

The Second Adam

The Second Adam

I want to talk about the second Adam in the Bible today, but I really should tell you a little about the first Adam, first. It begins with God. Genesis 1:1 says In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Then Genesis 1:26-28 states: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.  [Read more…]

Super Bowl Outreach 2017 Update

God Answered Prayers!

This update is about 100 evangelists from around the country converging on Houston, Texas for Super Bowl weekend and how God answered five months of prayers for the outreach. We believe three people got saved, one person was delivered out of a cult, thousands of Gospel tracts were handed out, several Bibles were handed out and many one to one conversations took place.  [Read more…]

The Super Bowl

The Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is coming up this weekend. The New England Patriots are playing the Atlanta Falcons. The last I heard, tickets were going for an average of $4,600 a piece. Can you imagine that? Can you imagine paying over $9,000 for you and someone else to attend the Super Bowl in person? I wouldn’t waste that amount of money on a game, even if I had that much to throw around. The price to get into the game is very high.  [Read more…]

God From Beginning To End

God From Beginning To End

When you read the Holy Bible, you see God from beginning to end. This shouldn’t be surprising since the Bible is God’s word. 2 Timothy 3:16 says: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. All Scripture, the entire Bible is inspired by God, not just the red letters. Our Father God wrote the Bible through the Holy Spirit that gave men the words God wanted them to write.  [Read more…]

Encouraged

Encouraged

It was windy, but a warmer day on Wednesday when I witnessed in front of Planned Parenthood. I quoted Genesis 1:1. Then read the verses of the first chapter where God created the animals after their kind and man and woman after God’s own image. That’s when a woman pulled into the parking lot and walked up to me. I stopped reading Scripture and looked up at her. You never know if someone is a friend or a foe when they come up to you like that. But she smiled and shook my hand. She said something like may God bless you with many blessings. Just for being there in front of Planned Parenthood. I was greatly encouraged by that.  [Read more…]

Do Unrepentant Sinners Suffer God’s Wrath Forever?

Do Unrepentant Sinners Suffer God’s Wrath Forever?

A couple of weeks ago I talked to a young man here in downtown Springfield, MO and he told me that Aaron and I preach too much hellfire and brimstone. In addition to this issue, he also said our problem is that punishment in Hell is not eternal. So the message this week is: Do Unrepentant Sinners Suffer God’s Wrath Forever?  [Read more…]

Does God Punish Sinners?

Does God Punish Sinners?

More times than not when we are street witnessing, someone will yell out “God loves everybody.” They say this to justify their sin. In other words, it doesn’t matter if you continue living a sinful lifestyle, God loves you anyway. But is this biblical? Does God punish sinners?  [Read more…]

God Will Not Be Mocked

God Will Not Be Mocked

Ministry Update December 18, 2016

Friday night was a cold windy night, but that didn’t keep the mockers from coming out in full force. Aaron was preaching about how long suffering God is toward sinners and he pretty much had one mocker right after the other, the whole time he preached. But a motorcycle rider sat there revving his engine trying to drown out the preaching and just like we’ve seen before, he pealed out and lost control and wrecked the motorcycle. Pieces of his bike broke off. I was witnessing to a vendor across the street, but Aaron went over and preached to the rider, reminding him that God will not be mocked. Just like every other unrepentant sinner, the man needs to repent and trust Jesus.  [Read more…]

We’re Lesbians

We’re Lesbians

Ministry Update December 11, 2016

Friday night Diana, Elise and I witnessed downtown. I was bringing a message and like countless times in the past, God sent a mocker by at the exact moment to emphasize a point. I was preaching about why we call people to repent and I was quoting where Jesus was telling the religious leaders that they didn’t listen to John the Baptist, but the tax collectors and harlots did. I was making the point that these sinners repented and didn’t continue in their wicked ways; that Jesus never condoned sins and two lesbians walk up at that exact moment saying “we’re lesbians.” So I reminded them again that Jesus never condoned sin; not homosexuality and not lesbianism.  [Read more…]

Test The Prophets

Are you a Christian? Have you truly turned from your sins and turned to Jesus? Or did you come to Jesus for a better life? Did you come to Jesus for your best life now? Did you come to Jesus to gain something? Is it all about you? Have you listened to t.v. preachers or Christian music where all they talk about is you and how wonderful you are? I ask you these questions because the Bible clearly tells us to test the prophets.  [Read more…]
