Magnify The Lord

Magnify The Lord

As Christians, we are to magnify the Lord. To my fellow Christians, do you magnify the Lord? In other words, do you praise God? Do you exalt or extol the Lord? Do you lift of up the precious name of Jesus to others? Do you share the Gospel with this lost and dying world? Do you magnify Jesus – the name above every other name?

Psalm 70:4 says: Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. In Luke Chapter 1, the angel Gabriel tells Mary that she is going to have a son by the power of the Holy Spirit and that He will be a King and his kingdom will reign forever. Mary went to see her cousin Elizabeth and Mary spoke these words: My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour (Luke 1:46-47). [Read more…]

Judge Yourselves Unworthy

Judge Yourselves Unworthy

The Apostle Paul went to Antioch in Pisidia and shared the Gospel with the Jews in the Synagogue. After he had done so, the Jews there rejected the salvation that is found in Jesus Christ alone and Paul says to them: “You judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life.” Strong words from the apostle. The Jews in Antioch in Pisidia had judged themselves unworthy of everlasting life. [Read more…]

Savior Of The World

Savior Of The World

I love reading the Bible and the other day I was reading John 4 about Jesus and the woman at the well. It’s a great story, but what really jumped out at me was the people of Sychar called Jesus the Savior of the world. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and there is no other. The Lord Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of lords and He is the only Savior of the world.

Acts 12:4 states: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23). And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent (John 17:3). [Read more…]

Look And Believe

Look And Believe

The very first message that Jesus preached, He said “Repent and believe the Gospel.” Romans 10:9-10 says: That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. [Read more…]

Why Do We Do This?

Why do we do this? Why do we come out here week after week and share the Gospel? Why do we do this when we know we are going to be verbally attacked or every now and then even physically attacked? Why do we do this when we know we are more than likely to encounter mockers and scoffers? Why do we do this?  [Read more…]

Gay Pride 2016 website pic 1We Don’t Want God We’re Gay

Last Friday night we were street preaching on the square. While Brother Jim was finishing up, a group of young women started mocking him. They continued mocking while Aaron preached. I was standing there handing out tracts and they hollered for me to come over and talk to them. So I walked over and said what do you want to talk about. One girl said about “this bull____ you guys are saying.” I said so you really don’t want to talk. Then one of the girls said we don’t want to hear about God tomorrow (at the gay pride event), to which I replied, we’ll we are going to talk about God. Then a girl said “we don’t want God we’re gay.”  [Read more…]

Praise Jesus

My friends and I just finished singing hymns. Why do we sing hymns? Because we love to praise Jesus. We praise Him in private and we praise Jesus in public. We love Him because He first loved us. We praise Him! We praise our Lord and Savior! We gladly praise Jesus!  [Read more…]

There’s only One who is Prophet, Priest and King. Jesus Christ is the only One who fills all three positions. Not the pope, not the president, not the health, wealth and prosperity false teachers, only Jesus. He is the One. He is the Prophet. He is the High Priest. He is the King. There is no other.
