In Or Out

In Or Out?

When I think of in and out, I think of In-N-Out Burger in California. It’s been years since I’ve eaten one of their burgers, but I remember how good they are. Sometimes we use in and out when we need to run to the store or a convenience store. Sometimes I’ll drop my wife off at the door and I keep the van running because she just needs to run in and out for one or two items. These are examples of in and out, but what about in or out? What comes to mind when you hear in or out? [Read more…]

Can A Prophet Lie?

Can A Prophet Lie?

Can a prophet lie? In today’s world of tolerance, can a prophet lie and we just forgive that prophet because we all make mistakes? Do we forgive and forget? I’m asking these questions because I’ve had many unbelievers tell me that they think Jesus was just a good person who said some good things to live by, but they don’t believe in the supernatural things that He did. If this is your belief tonight, then you are calling Jesus a liar. So I ask again, can a prophet lie?  [Read more…]

Wake The Dead

Wake The Dead

Wake the dead. No, I’m not talking about zombies or the living dead. I’m talking about waking the dead, as in several biblical accounts of Jesus raising people from the dead. He raised up the son of the widow at Nain. Jesus also raised Jarius’ daughter from the dead. My second favorite account of Jesus raising someone from the dead is where Jesus told Lazarus to come out of the tomb.  [Read more…]

Hallelujah Good Time!

Hallelujah Good Time

Hallelujah Good Time!

Ministry Update April 10, 2016

Oh we had a hallelujah good time witnessing in downtown Springfield, MO on Friday night April 8, 2016. I thought later that night that the people going into the bars, the ones searching for drugs or looking for immoral sexual relationships may very well die some day in their sins and go to Hell, but they will get there by going around us, by ignoring God’s pleas through  us, that they repent and believe the Gospel. Whether they receive or reject Jesus, the truth went forth and God was glorified and the whole time, we had a hallelujah good time!  [Read more…]

Partial Obedience

Disobedience 1 website pic
Maybe your boss, a loved one or a friend has asked you to do something and you only partially completed the task. Are you guilty of ever doing this? Or have you ever asked someone to do a task for you and they only finished the job half halfway? If so, how did that make you feel?

I’m asking these questions because the message tonight is about partial obedience and I’d like to read 1 Samuel 15:1-28: Samuel also said unto Saul, The Lord sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the Lord. 2 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.  [Read more…]
