There was an Awaken The Dawn event in the park next to our normal witnessing spot Friday night, so Conner and I witnessed at the corner of South and Walnut. We encountered many mockers there and after we both brought messages and handed out tracts, we went back to our normal witnessing spot. There, we also encountered more mockers. If you believe in evolution, if you are an atheist, then your worldview is illogical. That’s right, I’m calling you out on your worldview. If you really believe that we evolved from nothing, that nothing created everything, your worldview is illogical. It makes no sense. Never in your life have seen something create itself out of nothing. Do Atheists need a new name? I run into people all the time who claim that they are atheists and they vehemently say, “God is not real” or “there is no God.” They are very adamant in their stance. Atheists do not believe that God exists. The original meaning in the Greek is without God. But atheists aren’t neutral to this God they say doesn’t exist. Last week at Missouri State University, a student asked me, “Why do you believe in God?” This young man introduced himself to me earlier in the year as being an atheist (and even included his sexual preference which I didn’t ask about). I witnessed at Missouri State University on Monday November 29, 2017. While handing out tracts on the way to open-air preach, one student said no to a tract, but she smiled and said that she’s a Christian. I don’t think she could tell the tract was a Gospel tract, so I’m guessing she realizes that I share the Gospel weekly at the campus. Another student smiled and waved as she walked by (a different student from last week). A couple of students recorded as they walked past. But the skateboarding atheist rolled by me. I was talking about how billions and billions of years do not explain how the universe came into existence. He stopped and came up to me and wanted to know, “Do you believe in science?” [Read more…]
Last week a student put her hand up refusing a tract at MSU and then she turned around and said, “I don’t believe in God.” I didn’t say anything because I’m trying not to respond in a harsh way to God-mockers and scoffers. But I can’t get this out of my mind because what I really want to say to the young woman is “God doesn’t believe in your unbelief of Him.” [Read more…]
Ministry Update August 23, 2015
The fall semester started this last week at MSU and they have a record enrollment this year. There were more students than usual coming out of and going into Strong Hall when I was witnessing there on Wednesday. There were a few hecklers, but the best one was Britt. He is pictured above and he started spouting off garbledy gook while I was open-air preaching. Some students stopped to see what was going on. [Read more…]
Tim Tebow seems very genuine about his faith. I believe when he’s “tebowing,” that he is sincerely praying and/or praising our one true God. I don’t believe it is an act or a show of any kind. I think Tebow is really worshiping God when he kneels down. [Read more…]
