Birth of Jesus

Anticipation

Anticipation

It’s hard to believe that we are in the year 2020. There’s a lot of anticipation for the new year. Some people are planning on getting into better physical shape, eating better, or maybe they have prospects of a new job. Others may be getting a driver’s license or going to college this year. Still others are planning on getting married or having babies. It’s a brand-new year and the best word I can use to describe it is anticipation. [Read more…]

Right Side Of History

Right Side Of History

We frequently hear in the news about being on the right side of history. When people say this, what they are really saying is that those of us who hold to a biblical worldview, need to forget the Bible and get with the current sexual revolution. They are saying that gay marriage is here to stay and gender identity is fluid and those of us who disagree need to get “on the right side.” If we don’t do so, we are going to find ourselves on the wrong side of history.  [Read more…]

Mocking Woman In Red Car

Still Had Mockers On A Slow Night

Ministry Update December 23, 2018

Pastor Joshua, Conner and I witnessed downtown Friday night and it was a really slow night. We suspected it would be when we pulled up and the parking lot we normally park in (or at least try to park in most Friday nights) was nearly empty. It turned out to be a slow as we suspected. In fact it was so slow, that Conner walked around the block by the square just to see if anything else was going on. Since there wasn’t, he came back to our normal spot. But we still had mockers on a slow night.  [Read more…]

The Death Of Jesus

The Death Of Jesus

It’s only natural that people talk about the birth of Jesus around Christmas time. People all around the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It is an exciting time. But why was Jesus born in the first place? Why did He leave Heaven to come to the very earth He created and be born of the virgin Mary and the Holy Spirit? Why did Jesus do this? He was born to die. Jesus came to save His people from their sins. So in addition to everyone celebrating the birth of Christ, it makes sense that we should also talk about the death of Jesus.  [Read more…]

Babe in a Manger

The Birth of Jesus

It’s just two days before Christmas and over 3,000 precious little babies will be murdered in the womb today – all around our nation. Over 3,000 precious little image bearers of God will never see the light of day. Over 3,000 babies will be killed today, just two days before we celebrate the birth of Jesus. So as strange as this may sound, we thought standing in front of Planned Parenthood is actually the best place to talk about the birth of Jesus. Planned Parenthood promotes death and destruction, but we want to talk about life. About the Life.  [Read more…]

Ministry Update December 27, 2015

Banned

You guys are banned from shopping at Other Mothers. Yes, the manager of Other Mothers banned Aaron and I from shopping at their store ever again. What was our unpardonable crime? We purchased items in his store before we witnessed next door at Planned Parenthood. What were the hateful, unloving words that we spoke in front of Planned Parenthood? Luke 2. That’s right, we sang carols and preached about the birth of Jesus. We did this two days before Christmas. (I will post the message – The Birth of Jesus in a couple of days). So it appears that Other Mothers, a store that sells used children’s clothing supports Planned Parenthood, an organization that kills off their potential clients. Yes, we live in a mixed up world where evil is called good and good is called evil.  [Read more…]

Do You Obey the Risen Savior?

Jesus My Savior Website Pic
We just celebrated Christmas in remembrance of the birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus was born in a manger. He was fully God and fully man. He was Emmanuel – God in the flesh. We just celebrated Christmas and I dare say that most people probably don’t have a problem with Jesus in the manger. Who doesn’t love a cute little baby? [Read more…]

There’s Nothing Wrong With Black Friday

Black Friday Best Buy Ad

There’s nothing wrong with Black Friday. There’s nothing wrong with looking for good deals. Black Friday should still be on the Friday after Thanksgiving instead of Thanksgiving evening. But there’s nothing wrong with getting a good deal. A few years ago when Black Friday was still on Friday, I went out witnessing with a bunch of people at 4 am and then around 7 or 8 am that morning I ran by a store and bought a bicycle for my daughter that was really cheap and it was the last one that the store had in her size. That was very exciting. [Read more…]
