Are You Living Christian?

Seek and Save Are You Living Christian Website Pic

I’ve been street witnessing for the past five years and one thing that you can count on is that over 90% of the people will answer yes if you ask them if they are a good person. The Bible actually backs this up; not that people are good, but that they will proclaim themselves good. Proverbs 20:6 says Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find? So this fact shouldn’t be surprising. By the way, the Bible actually says that there are none righteous, no not one (Psalm 14:1).  [Read more…]

What Will Happen to J.T. Everlost?

Everlost Hell Pic

Do you ever read the end of a book first? I know some people who do this, but I’m not one of them. I like to start with the introduction and read a book straight through. If it turns out to be boring or if I lose interest, I just stop reading it. [Read more…]

People Crossing a Busy Street

What are you doing right now? You may think, well that’s a stupid question because I’m reading this blog. But are you really paying attention? Are you really concentrating on this message? Or are you listening to the radio or talking to or listening to a friend or loved one at the same time? Or maybe you are thinking about what you are going to do later on tonight. [Read more…]

Watered Down Gospel

Seek and Save Water Downed Gospel Website Photo

Christian, are you sharing the true Word of God? Are you telling people the true Gospel that’s found in the Bible? Are you warning people to flee from the wrath to come? Are you helping people see their sinfulness in light of God’s righteousness, by taking them through the 10 Commandments? Are you helping them see their need for a Savior? [Read more…]

You Are Loved!

September 14, 2012 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

Never doubt that you are loved. God loves each and every one of us. In fact the Bible says that He loved us while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8). So what are you doing with this great love? Are you receiving it by submitting your life to Jesus Christ our Lord? Or are you rejecting this amazing love?

Harsh Gospel

I’m no George Whitefield, but I’ve been accused of presenting a harsh Gospel so I’d like to clear the air. If you mean by presenting people with the truth as found in the Bible, then I admit that I do that. If I’m accused of teaching a harsh Gospel because I talk too much about the wrath of God, then I plead guilty to that charge too. Why do I talk so much about the wrath of God? Because it’s in the Bible! [Read more…]

Three Minutes to Live!

December 16, 2011 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

You are out driving on a country road and you come upon a bad accident. I’m alone in my car and I’ve run off the road where I hit a tree and a branch has impaled me. You are the first one to come upon the accident. You realize that an ambulance will never get to me in time. I’m bleeding badly and you estimate from my wound that I have three minutes to live. What do you say to me?  [Read more…]

Christians Don’t Do That!

December 9, 2011 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

Several of us with Born of Him Ministries go out witnessing. Sometimes we are accused of being offensive, especially when we do open-air preaching. Sometimes people yell out “Christians don’t do that.” Sadly, the majority of the people who yell at us saying that we are offending them claim to be Christians themselves. [Read more…]

Don’t Let Anyone Tell You What To Believe

December 3, 2011 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

Don’t let anyone tell you what to believe concerning your salvation. Now before my friends start throwing stones at me, I haven’t lost my mind. I’m not telling people that whatever they believe is alright. I’m not saying that you can claim Christ as Lord and live for Satan. I’m not teaching Universalism. [Read more…]

Cry Out to Jesus

November 5, 2011 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

Some people say you need to accept Jesus by asking Him into your heart because you will have a better life. I think these people have good intentions, but I’m afraid theiy are missing the mark. I’m afraid a lot of people mistakenly want to try this “Jesus thing” or “Christian thing” out for a while – to see if they magically get a better life. [Read more…]
