My friends and I are out here today because we believe in life. God made each of us in His own image and we are to obey Him. Please listen to these words found in Deuteronomy 30:10-20: If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

We turn a lot of things in life. We turn a key in a lock. We turn faucets on and off. We turn on and turn off lights. We turn on computers. Retail stores turn over inventory. In business, sometimes you have to turn a company around. It is heading in the wrong direction, the company is about to go under, sometimes even high profile companies, then they hire a hot shot CEO and that person comes in and turns the company around. This is going to be a tough message tonight and many of you won’t want to hear it, but it needs to be said. It needs to be said because even though we live in the Bible belt and most of us have at least one Bible at home and even though many of us have grown up in Christian homes or have been exposed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, sadly, many people in Springfield, maybe this includes you, have been exposed to just enough religion to send you straight to Hell. Jesus loves you. Jesus loves me. Jesus loves you and me. Jesus loves sinners. You and I are sinners and yes, Jesus loves us. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).
