And it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgement – Hebrews 9:27. You cannot cheat death and you will stand before God on Judgment Day, just like I will. You may be thinking, well I’m a believer so I don’t have anything to worry about.
If you are truly saved, if you have truly been born-again, if God has truly transformed your life, if you are a new creature in Christ and God has taken away your heart of stone and given you a heart of flesh, then you won’t have to worry about where you will spend eternity. With that said, I don’t think God is going to give us a free pass. I believe God will show us missed opportunities where we should have witnessed to the lost. I think He will also ask us “why didn’t you step up?” “Why didn’t you speak for those who have no voice?” (Proverbs 31:8).
I can’t think of any group in America that is more abused and overlooked than unborn children who are viciously killed in the womb. Over 54 million innocent little lives have been snuffed out since Roe versus Wade. This is the great evil of our generation. Where is the church? The bride of Christ? Mainly hidden in doors and remaining deafeningly silent on this most horrific issue. Yes, I believe if you remain silent in the face of evil, God will question you about this on Judgment Day. Start today. Speak up for the voiceless. Abortion must end. Will you speak up or will you remain silent in the face of evil?
