Have you ever lost something valuable to you? When I was 16 years old I was raking hay for my grandpa and I lost my billfold. It was on a Friday and I had just gotten paid. I don’t remember exactly now, but I think I had around $120 in the billfold. I was really upset about losing everything including my driver’s license.
Several years later my grandpa found the billfold when he was feeding his cows. I was so excited that I got it back. There is something much more valuable than money and that is your very soul. Have you ever really thought about Jesus coming to earth to seek and to find you? Jesus came to seek and save the lost. The Son of God knows how valuable your soul is. Jesus loved you so much that He was willing to suffer and die on the cross for your sins and mine. That truly is amazing love.
All of us need to realize that our sins have separated us from God. We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Jesus died on the cross in our place. Jesus lived a sinless, perfect life. Jesus came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10). We are the ones that have broken God’s Law (the Ten Commandments), but Jesus paid our fine.
The really cool part of this amazing gift Jesus gives us is that it is totally free! There is nothing that you or I can do to earn this free gift (Ephesians 2:8-9). We just need to acknowledge that our sins have separated us from God and that Jesus died on the cross in our place. The really great news is that He rose again on the third day!
If you have never done so yet, please ask God to forgive you for your sins and then ask Jesus to save you. Romans 10:13 states, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Repent from your sins, turn from them and turn toward God. Then, put your faith in Jesus. Surrender your will to Him daily. If you are lost, please do this today. Jesus came to seek and save the lost and He’s still seeking today. Receive the amazing gift of salvation and receive everlasting life.

Yes JESUS came to seen and save the lost- so why quote Paul in your headline? Why not quote Jesus?
Poem – What is love?
Two men came to Jesus
With different motivations.
They asked Him the same question
Relevant to all the nations:
Which is the Most Important?
The answer was the same.
Jesus did not manipulate
He was not there to play a game.
“Love the Lord your God” said Jesus
as He quoted from The Law –
to fulfill and not abolish
was His purpose, full of awe.
Jesus did not make all Scripture
Into one new great commandment.
He summarized The Law and Prophets
“First and Greatest” and “The Second.”
The Love of God is higher
Than the love of any man.
Receive from God, give back to God-
Then to others, that’s His plan.
The Love of God involves much more
Than simply “love your fellow man.”
Worship, trust, and pray to God,
and obey Him – that’s His plan
To worship and pray to neighbors,
Whoever they may be,
Or trust and obey our enemies
Would be idolatry.
The love of God is first and greatest,
And the love of man is second.
“All we need is love” are words
of dead Beetles on the pavement.
“The entire law is summed up in a single command”
are not the words of Jesus our Salvation.
It’s false teaching of Paul the Pharisee
an “accuser of our brethren.”
“Love” without God is Satan’s word through Paul
in his chapter to the Corinthians.
“I will show you the most excellent way”
is the road to eternal perdition.
Where is God in Paul’s chapter on love?
Nowhere in view of the eye.
Paul sings about himself like a Mexican Mariachi
“I, I, I, I.”
Jesus is The Most Excellent Way
Not the words of a Pharisee.
The words of Jesus are very clear.
Jesus said, “You must follow ME.”
Dennis - Seek and Save the Lost
You are preaching a false gospel. The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times (Psalms 12:6). Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him (Proverbs 30:5). All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16). If you are a “red letter” Christian then you need to be rebuked. The whole Bible is the whole counsel of God and divinely inspired. Jesus constantly affirmed the Scriptures and to deny any of God’s Holy word is blasphemy and heresy. Please repent from your false teaching. (By the way you even misunderstand the very verses you quoted. Loving God and loving our neighbors most definitely is Jesus clearly summing up the 10 Commandments. Please quit preaching a false gospel).
