My name is Dennis and I was born in the state of Missouri in the United States of America. I am a white male and I have black and gray hair and brown eyes. These are the facts. I can’t change them. I can dye my hair a different color or grow a beard or mustache, but some of the basic facts about me are just that. They are facts and I can’t change them.
I am a Christian and I’m not anti-Gay – I’m pro-God. I believe in God and I believe in His Word. I believe the Bible is God’s Holy Word, written by men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit to pen the words God wanted in the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16). There is no negotiating on what it says and we can’t just take out the parts we don’t like nor can we add anything to it (Deuteronomy 4:2).
I believe Hebrews 9:27 where it says that it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment. I also believe Hebrews 10:31 where it says that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. I believe that we are to flee from the wrath to come by putting our faith in Jesus Christ and turning away from our sins (Acts 20:21). I believe these truths as stated in the Bible.
Unfortunately, I also believe the parts of the Bible that are hard for society to accept. Homosexuality is an abomination to God (Leviticus 18:22). So much so, that He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of their sinful ways (Genesis 19:5). 2 Peter 2:6 and Jude 7 both refer to Sodom and Gomorrah and God’s judgment on those cities because of their ungodliness.
But God doesn’t just hate the sin of homosexuality. He also hates all sexual sins. God hates sin period (Psalm 5:5; 45:7). Look at 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
If you don’t want to talk about sexual sins, then take them out of the equation for a minute. Have you made an idol for yourself? Are you worshiping a god that overlooks your sins and is happy with you the way you are? If so, you are not worshiping the God of the Bible; you are committing idolatry. Do you covet something that belongs to someone else? Do you drink too much? Have you ever stolen anything?
Notice that the apostle Paul says be not deceived. He also says that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. So no matter what your sin of choice is, if you continue committing that sin over and over then you will not go to Heaven when you die (willfully sinning is not repenting). Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone (John 14:6). Yes, we all sin, even people who have been saved. But through the Holy Spirit, God sanctifies us little by little and we turn away from our sins and turn to God (Hebrews 12:2).
For example, I couldn’t cheat on my wife with other women and each time just say I’m sorry and pray that God would forgive men and knowingly continue doing this over and over and expect God (and my wife) to continue forgiving me (1 John 3:8-9). That is not genuine repentance (Luke 3:8).
Repentance is turning away from your sins and turning toward God (Acts 3:19). Repentance is a change of heart and a change of mind (Luke 15:18). It starts in our heart. When God saves you, He starts sanctifying you. He convicts you through the Holy Spirit that the things you thought were acceptable before are not acceptable to Him. He calls us to be holy because He is Holy.
Back to the topic of homosexuality. Many people will argue that homosexuals are born that way. I agree with them. They were born with a sinful nature (Romans 1:26-28). I also was born with sinful nature (Romans 5:12). In fact, I kissed a girl when I was in kindergarten and I chased girls until I married my wife. Yes, I still fight the sin of lusting and probably will until I die. (One way I fight it is when I see a beautiful woman instead of lusting after her I ask myself this question: I wonder if she is saved?). I no longer desire to chase women. I am faithful to God and my wife.
If you are gay and you are reading this, please know that I am not trying to make you mad and I’m not trying to pick on you. I am trying to warn you that if you are a practicing homosexual then the Bible is clear that you are headed to Hell; along with all other unrepentant sinners. I don’t want that for anyone. I’m frantically waiving my arms in front of you begging you to turn around and go a different direction. The same thing applies to people who are having sex outside of marriage and any married person who is committing adultery. You must repent.
If you were born with homosexual tendencies, then I’d advise you to repent and turn away from your sins. You may always live with that sexual desire or preference, but you can’t act upon it. The same advice goes for you if you are a womanizer or a drunkard. You too must repent and turn away from your sins. Above all, you must put your faith in Jesus Christ. Please turn away from your sins and put your trust in Jesus Christ. Surrender your life fully to Him and He will help you overcome your sinful desires. God will grant you new desires; godly desires. Please submit your life to Jesus today and receive eternal salvation.

This is the biggest load of hogwash I ever read in My life. It is more a sin to deny what is natural in yourself because of a book written by men, claiming to have been inspired by some holy spirit, than it is to act as nature has intended you to act. Gay, Bi, Straight, that’s a personal preference that doesn’t harm another person. As long as the partner, the object of your love (yes, love, the most holy of emotions) returns that love and is conceptual in reciprocating the affections, there is no sin. Sin is not a concept defined and delivered unto the world by any God, Sin is defined and interpreted by Man as a way to justify his own actions while denigrating the actions of another they disagree with. To say your not anti-gay, your pro-god, all your really doing is trying to come up with excuses an like a little kid, say “its not my fault, God made me do it”

I appreciate that you admit gay, bi-sexual or straight is a preference. But when you say that the Bible is wrong and then you proceed to say what sin is, you are putting yourself in the place of God. You are committing idolatry. The heart is deceitfully wicked above all things.
God made us and God loves us. But the thing formed has no right to tell the great Creator what He should or shouldn’t do. You are in no position to tell God what He morally should or shouldn’t approve of or disapprove of. God said that all sexual sins are sins. In fact, even telling one white lie is enough to send a person to Hell. You may not agree with this, but it is because God is that Holy. He cannot tolerate sin.
That’s why He sent Jesus to walk this earth 2,000 years ago. Jesus lived a perfect and sinless life. He then willingly suffered horribly at the hands of the Romans. He was beat beyond recognition. The He hung on the cross for six torturous hours. He died and on the third day He rose again. Jesus defeated sin, death and Hell. But you have to turn away from your sins and put your faith in Him to be saved. Please repent and put your trust in Jesus
