If Jesus Christ is not your Lord and Savior, then please don’t skip over this message. My friends and I that go out street witnessing are heartbroken tonight. We just found out that an atheist that used to mock us, died last year. This young man would stand next to us holding a handmade cardboard sign saying f this guy with an arrow pointing toward us. He would cuss us out and laugh. People walking by would laugh and many of them would stop and take selfies with him while he mocked us.
We are not laughing at his death. We are not happy that he’s suffering in the torments of Hell this very moment. We are broken hearted over the news of his death. He heard and rejected the Gospel many times. He mocked God many times. But he is not laughing now. Oh how we wish he would have repented and put his faith in Christ Jesus. We prayed for his very soul, yet he didn’t care about his own soul.
Every time that you reject the Gospel. every time that you hear God’s truth and reject it, you are one step closer to being reprobated (Romans 1). Oh, if you have any conscience left at all, please understand that you are a wretched sinner and that God is Holy. Recognize that every time that you have lied, lusted, stolen, coveted or blasphemed God that you were just adding sin upon sin. You can’t do anything to save yourself. You can’t do more good than bad. You can’t do one little thing to erase a little white lie, let alone all of your sins. You are a guilty sinner and one day you will stand before a Holy, righteous God. On Judgment Day, you will be without excuse, if you die in your sins. Your mouth will be stopped. Judgment Day is a day of sentencing and you are already guilty.
You will suffer God’s righteous indignation over your sins forever. There are no second chances. Jesus will have His servants cast you into the lake of fire and brimstone, if you die in your sins. Don’t die in your sins. Repent and put your faith in Jesus. Confess and forsake your sins. Turn from your sins and live. Surrender your life to the Lordship of Jesus. This is not a game. You will spend eternity in Heaven or Hell. Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.He is the only way to Heaven. All other roads lead to Hell.
Don’t continue living your life for the devil. Repent and believe the Gospel. Salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. He took the punishment that you and I deserve. He paid the sin debt that He did not owe. He was beaten beyond recognition. He was nailed to the old rugged cross. God poured His wrath out upon His own perfect, sinless Son for guilty sinners like you and me. Jesus died on that cross and He was buried and then He rose victoriously from the grave on the third day. God offers eternal life to each and every person who repents and puts their faith in Jesus. Believe on the Lord Jesus and be saved. Do this today and be saved. Life is short and it is no joke. Stop mocking God. Turn to Jesus. Surrender your life fully and completely to Him. Today is the day of salvation. Come to Jesus. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
