He Is Lord Of All
Tonight, I want to talk to you about Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Not only did Jesus save me, He is Lord of my life. I’m grateful that Jesus bore God’s wrath over my sins as Jesus was beaten unmercifully for my sins. The Lord also drank the cup of God’s wrath, the same wrath that I deserved. Oh, I willingly bow my knee to King Jesus. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Yes, Jesus is worthy of all praise, honor and glory because He is lord of all.
Acts 10:36 states that Jesus is lord of all. But I’d like to read you Acts 10:34-43: Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that fears him, and works righteousness, is accepted with him. The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead. And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead. To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
God Loves His Own
These verses tell us that God is no respecter of persons. God, the great Creator God cannot be bribed. You can’t earn salvation; you cannot work your way to Heaven. Doesn’t matter if you are rich or poor, black, white, brown, red or any other skin tone, God doesn’t put any person above anyone else. Oh, don’t get me wrong, God loves His own (1 John 3:1) and He is angry (Psalm 7:11) with the wicked, but if Jesus is not your Lord and Savior, you need to repent and believe the Gospel.
Jesus Christ is Lord; He is Lord of all. Oh, is Jesus Lord of your life tonight? Have you truly repented of your sins and surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus? Make no mistake, one day you will bow the knee and confess with your tongue that Jesus Christ is Lord. Oh, but if you wait until Judgment Day, it will be too late. You will do these things, but on that great and terrible day of the Lord, Jesus will have His servants cast you into the lake that burns with brimstone and fire you will suffer for all eternity (Matthew 13:41-42).
Jesus was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit. The Lord healed the sick and freed those who were demon possessed. The miracles proved that He was the Messiah, the promised one. Jesus suffered, bled and died on the cross and rose from the grave three days later. Jesus defeated sin, death, Hell and Satan. Salvation is for all who repent and put their trust in Jesus Christ the Lord. Jesus now sits at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven. He is Lord of all. Jesus is the Judge of the living and the dead. Those who repent and believe in Him are saved. Our sins are forgiven.
Don’t Continue Living In Guilt
You don’t need to go through life living in guilt and with no hope. Your sins can be forgiven. There is hope in the Lord. If Jesus is not your Lord and Savior, truly repent from your sins and surrender your life fully and completely to the Lord Jesus. Submit your life to King Jesus. Oh, do this tonight. Don’t put it off. You are not guaranteed tomorrow. You are not even guaranteed your next breath.
Recognize that you are a sinner and that you have offended God who is righteous and Holy. Cry out for God to save you. Repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus. Acts 20:21 says that we are to have repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Bow the knee to King Jesus; He is Lord of all. Truly surrender your life to Jesus Christ.
Acts 17:30-31 state: And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men everywhere to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Repent
In the very first message that Jesus preached when He walked this earth, He called us to repent and believe the Gospel. Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel (Mark 1:14-15). Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded (James 4:7-8).
God commands us to repent because we’ve all sinned against God. We’ve all gone our own way. None of us have loved the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. There is none righteous, no not one (Romans 3:10). The wages for our sins is death (Romans 6:23). The soul that sins, it shall die. There is no hope on your own. You can’t save yourself. You can’t make yourself righteous. We all need the righteousness of perfection and that is only found in Jesus Christ alone.
Christ Jesus Died In The Place Of Guilty Sinners
Jesus died in the place of guilty sinners who repent and trust Him. He is the sinless one. Jesus is the perfect sacrifice. The sinless Son of God took the punishment that we deserve and eternal life is found only through Him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent (John 17:3). Only Jesus appeased the righteous wrath of God over sin. That’s why you must repent and put your faith in Him or you will die in your sins. There is salvation in no other. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Because Jesus is the perfect and only sacrifice that can wipe out your sins, He is Lord of all. God has given the Lord Jesus a name above all names. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2;9-11).
The Great Commission
And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28:18-20).
Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that fills all in all (Ephesians 1:15-23).
Jesus Is Lord Of All
Jesus is Lord of all. Join me in bowing the knee and confessing with the tongue that Jesus Christ is Lord. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). Call upon the name of Jesus; repent of your sins and surrender your life to Jesus. He is Lord of all. One day, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Oh, but do so in this life and receive everlasting life. Join me in praising Jesus, right here, right now and then praise Him for all eternity.
And when he (Jesus) had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Blessing, Honor, Glory And Power Unto The Lamb
And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
Jesus is Lord of all and He is worthy to be praised because He has name above every other name. I gladly praise Jesus tonight and I’m looking forward to joining the saints and angels in Heaven in praising my Lord and Savior forever. Worthy is the Lamb that was slain. Jesus is worthy of all praise, honor and glory. Praise the Lord for He is greatly to be praised. He is Lord of all.
