Let’s start the new year off right. Let’s assign blame where it truly belongs, god is to blame for all the evil and all the bad stuff in this world! The little g god is to blame. The Bible is very clear that the little god of this world is Satan. 2 Corinthians 4:4 states, “In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”
The Bible also calls the devil the prince of the power of the air. This is found in Ephesians 2:2-3, where it says, “Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”
So the next time you hear someone blame god for all the problems in the world, tell them they are right. The little g god is to blame. The devil is hard at work and he has blinded the eyes, heart and mind of the unbeliever. The non-Christian is following the sinful desires of the flesh and mind. He is a child of wrath.
Lovingly point him toward Jesus in order to save him from the wrath that is to come. Please share the Good News with the unbeliever and remember that there is power in the Word of God. So I wouldn’t spend too much time arguing with a non-Christian, show him that he is a sinner and that there will be a Judgment Day. Let God work on his God-given conscience. Then share the Gospel (the Good News) with him. Go ahead and blame the little g god for the awful things in this world, but then share the wonderful news of our big G God!
