We were out street witnessing tonight and a young man came over and stood in front of us holding up a coexist sign while Aaron was preaching. I went over asked him how can the world religions coexist while Muslims (the C in coexist) are beheading the Christians (the T in coexist)? He said that they aren’t just killing Christians. Like somehow that proves his point? So if Muslims are even killing other Muslims in addition to killing Christians, doesn’t that even prove the point even more emphatically that there is no coexist if Muslims can’t even coexist with other Muslims?
But I didn’t go there with the young man. I just asked him if he watches the news and he said that he does. So then I asked him if he’s seen how the Muslims are singling out Christians and he argued again that they aren’t doing that. I guess he hasn’t seen the Arabic N and doesn’t realize that it symbolizes Nazarene, or means that a follower of Jesus lives in that house, thereby marking that family for torture or even death (which looks a lot like what the Nazis did during World War II).
Then the discussion became even more bizarre. He told me that he is an Atheist. So then I asked him why in the world would he, an Atheist even care about coexist if he doesn’t believe in anything. That’s not as bizarre as Muslims beheading Christians, but it is pretty bizarre to run around holding up a sign promoting coexist when you don’t personally believe in any one of the religions represented on the sign. If he were truly a devout Atheist, he should hold up a sign that says “I believe nothing created everything.” Even though he’d still be wrong, at least he’d be promoting what he actually believes.
Satan has so many people deceived. Coexist does not make sense. Jesus is the only answer. Jesus is the only Savior. If He is not your Lord and Savior today, quit playing around. Stop fooling around with one of the false religions – including Atheism, which is a religion too. Turn to Jesus and be saved. Repent and put your faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. Be saved today. Repent and believe the Gospel.
