Do You Believe Jesus Is The Messiah?
Ministry Update December 1, 2019
I was asking students on Monday at Missouri State University this question: Do you believe Jesus is the Messiah? Do you believe this? A student in a red jacket walked by and never said a word, but shook his head side to side no. He does not believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the promised one; the only Savior of mankind. I’m sure he’s not alone, but he did respond to the question.
The no one’s listening mocker also mouthed off again this week. The bells in the bell tower were ringing and he was far away before he turned around to let me know that he didn’t agree with the message. But I really couldn’t hear what he said. After that a group of men that pass by me every week and generally don’t say anything walked past me. One of the lead guys looked over and sarcastically joked “I can’t hear you.” I guess he was implying that I was too loud.
Several students took tracts before and after I brought a message. My favorite was afterwards. I held my arm out and said, “Did you get one of these?” The young man walking toward me said, “Nope” and “No thank you.” I just kept my arm extended and the tract out there and right as he passed by me, he took the tract. So after saying no two times, he ended up taking one. May God bless His truth that was proclaimed and may the Lord bless the tracts that went out.
