Super Human Being
Jesus was fully God and fully man. I don’t know about you, but when I read about the miracles that Jesus performed, I sometimes envision Him as looking like a super human being. But read the words of Isaiah in chapter 53:2.

Young people may not realize this, but tv’s used to be black and white. Police cars back in the 1970’s were called black and whites because they were painted like the police car pictured above. Black and white may be considered an old fashioned term. People nowadays want to talk about tolerance. There always seems to be shades of gray. Dead Man Walking
A lot of young people talk about zombies and the walking dead. It’s almost like you can’t get away from this subject. But instead of talking about the walking dead, I want to focus on the phrase “dead man walking.” Back in the 1960’s, correctional officers used to yell out “dead man walking” when a death row inmate was taking the last walk down the hallway to his execution (the state of Missouri used to carry out the death sentence by using the gas chamber). There are a lot of things we earn during our lifetime. We earn grades in school (good or bad). We earn awards or a spot on a team. We earn the trust of our friends. Later on we go to work and earn a living. We get paid for doing our job. We put in the effort and then we are rewarded with a paycheck.
