Does the Lord Know You?

January 20, 2013 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

Does the Lord know you? Have you truly repented of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 11:18)? I was fooled for a lot of years. Don’t be fooled. One way to know that you are really saved is if you have turned away from your sins (2 Corinthians 7:10). Please examine yourself and see if you are truly in the faith (2 Corinthians 13:5).

Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Look at the lyrics by Philip P. Bliss listed below. Have you recognized your guilt before God? Do your sins seem vile to you? Do you recognize that you are helpless to save yourself? Only God can open your eyes to your sinfulness before you will cry out to the Savior. [Read more…]

Victory in Jesus

January 10, 2013 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

If you are Christian, are you living your life victoriously? Jesus has overcome the world. He is victorious! We should also live victoriously in Him. Jesus didn’t promise us health, wealth and prosperity. He did promise that we will have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). Are you focused on the temporary things of this earth or are you focused on Jesus, Our Lord and Savior and your eternal life? Do you live your life with victory in Jesus?

What Do You Deserve?

Gold Star

Do you remember when you were a little kid and you did something right at school and you were rewarded with a gold star? Or maybe you won a speech debate or a spelling bee and you won a blue ribbon for that? Or how about the times when you thought you should have won, but didn’t? How did you feel when you didn’t get what you deserved? [Read more…]

Lip Service?

January 5, 2013 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

Is your belief in Jesus real? Do you confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior? In Isaiah, God says these people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me (Isaiah 29:13). Have you truly been born again (John 3)? Are you a new creature in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17)? Have you truly repented and put your faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18,20)? The apostle Paul said that we need to examine ourselves and see if we are in the faith. Please do this today. Are you truly saved or are you just giving God lip service? If you haven’t really been saved, please repent and believe the Gospel. Only Jesus saves. Do not be deceived! Turn away from your sins and put your trust in Him.

Are You Resolved?

January 2, 2013 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

Are you resolved to be more Christ-like in 2013? Many people have recently made new year resolutions. From past experience, I can tell you that new year’s resolutions are frequently broken. So why don’t we do something different this year. Let’s be resolved to spend more time with God this year by reading the Bible daily and praying more. Are you also resolved to deny yourself and pick up your cross daily and follow Jesus (Luke 9:23)? Will you share your faith with others? Be resolved to be more Christ-like this year!

Softly and Tenderly Jesus Is Calling

Jesus is softly, earnestly and tenderly calling for you to turn away from your sins and put your faith in Him. If you are unsaved, why don’t you start the new year off by surrendering to the Savior? Won’t you do this today?

Pro Gay Sign

My name is Dennis and I was born in the state of Missouri in the United States of America. I am a white male and I have black and gray hair and brown eyes. These are the facts. I can’t change them. I can dye my hair a different color or grow a beard or mustache, but some of the basic facts about me are just that. They are facts and I can’t change them. [Read more…]

Man Saved 85 Years After Hearing Sermon

December 30, 2012 by dennis@seekandsavethelost.com Leave a Comment

This is truly an amazing story and it shows how awesome our God really is! Oh that we might be faithful in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord. We must warn people of the reality of Hell and their impending torture that will last for all of eternity. We need to earnestly plead with transgressors about their perilous state and how salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. I pray that God will use us to help unbelievers see that they need to repent and put their faith in Jesus.
