A few of us from Springfield, MO went down to Arkansas last weekend to witness and plead for the lives of innocent, unborn children. When we got there, we found 25 other people out there standing for life, pleading for life and sharing the Gospel. Kermit Gosnell is an abortionist who is on trial in Philadelphia for killing babies outside the womb. According to prosecutors, he took scissors and plunged them into the neck of the helpless babies as they struggled to live. I strongly disagree with Kermit Gosnell, I’m 100% against abortion. But I understand what he did. Again, I don’t agree with it. But if you think it’s OK to kill a child in the womb, why not kill one outside the womb? If your all right with one, why not the other? I was pro-life even before I became a Christian. I’ve had many “discussions over the years with people about pro-life versus pro-choice. I always viewed it as we just had different opinions. It is illegal to murder someone in the United States of America (unless it is self-defense) and the same is true in most countries around the world. On the other hand, most “developed” countries in the world allow legalized abortions. We can’t kill someone in America unless it’s self-defense, but it is legal to kill a defenseless baby?
