I’m Not Anti-gay – I’m Pro-God
My name is Dennis and I was born in the state of Missouri in the United States of America. I am a white male and I have black and gray hair and brown eyes. These are the facts. I can’t change them. I can dye my hair a different color or grow a beard or mustache, but some of the basic facts about me are just that. They are facts and I can’t change them. [Read more…]
Man Saved 85 Years After Hearing Sermon
This is truly an amazing story and it shows how awesome our God really is! Oh that we might be faithful in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord. We must warn people of the reality of Hell and their impending torture that will last for all of eternity. We need to earnestly plead with transgressors about their perilous state and how salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. I pray that God will use us to help unbelievers see that they need to repent and put their faith in Jesus.
By All Means
In 1 Corinthians 9:22, the apostle Paul said that he tried to reach the lost by all means possible. Do we have this same attitude toward people who are lost and on the road to Hell? Do we proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ by all means? Some means? Any means at all?
How will you share your faith with others today? Even if you have no evangelism training at all, you can share your testimony with others. Be bold as a lion in Jesus Christ our Lord through the Holy Spirit and witness to someone today – by any means.
God’s Unbounding Love and Amazing Grace!
As Christians, we are not perfect in this world. We still sin every day. What sin(s) do you struggle with? The demons I fight are pride, lust, gluttony and anger. We can overcome our willful sins of the flesh. If we confess our sins to God and forsake them, He will forgive us. Only through the power of Jesus Christ can we defeat these ongoing sins.
Satan knows our weaknesses very well (probably better than we know them ourselves). So that’s why it is so important to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Flee from your sins. If you struggle with lust, turn off the computer and the t.v. Avoid temptations as much as possible to begin with. But if you find yourself facing temptations, remember that God always gives believers a way out – a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13)! Take the escape pod. We can be victorious through Jesus Christ our Lord because He is victorious and He has overcome the world (1 Corinthians 15:55-58).
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! May we all remember why we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord. He was born to die and He saves His people from their sins. Are you one of His (John 10:27)? Have you been adopted into the family of God (Galatians 4:3-7)? If not, what is keeping you from doing so right now?
For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9). For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). If you are an unrepentant sinner, please cry out to God to save you. Repent and believe the Gospel (Mark 1:15). Do this today!
Ten Equals Two
Ten equals two. I can’t be serious, right? This sounds like the kind of fuzzy math that some politicians use. But it’s not. I’m quite serious. Ten equals two. It’s not fuzzy math, it’s the truth as told by our Lord Jesus Christ. [Read more…]
Is it Really Old Testament Law and New Testament Grace?
Were the 10 Commandments really only for the people who lived during the Old Testament times? Is the New Testament all grace and no law? It is true that God gave the Israelites the 10 Commandments after He delivered them from Egypt (Exodus 20). It’s also true that Jesus ushered in the New Covenant with His death, burial and resurrection (Hebrews 12:24). Is it really Old Testament law and New Testament grace? [Read more…]
There’s Something Wrong With The World!
There’s something wrong with the world. We are sinful creatures living in a fallen world. The Bible says that men love the darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil (John 3:19). It’s easy to look around the world and see evil at work. It’s easy to look around and point fingers at others. [Read more…]
Bull’s-Eye!
We try to hit the bull’s-eye when we throw darts, shoot a bow and arrow or shoot a pistol or rifle. We also say that someone “hit the bull’s-eye” when they are dead on; when they are exactly right. It’s a way of affirming what someone says that you agree with. [Read more…]
