Ark Encounter Instead of Ministry Update
August 7, 2016
I don’t have a ministry update this week. Instead of witnessing at Planned Parenthood and in downtown Springfield, MO, my family and I were on vacation. So I mainly just handed out tracts when I could. (Lord willing, I will have a witnessing update next week). But I want to talk about the Ark Encounter. It was absolutely amazing. We were there for about four hours.
It’s really hard to visualize how large Noah’s ark was until you see the replica in person. When I read 300 cubits, I have to admit that I can’t visualize that. I also can’t really visualize three sections. But when you see the replica of the ark, you see just how massive of structure it was. No wonder it took Noah 100 years to build the ark! The Ark Encounter also shows you how tens of thousands of animals could easily have lived on the ark with Noah and his family for the nearly whole year that they were on the ark. They also show you how Noah and his family could have fed and watered the animals and themselves. My family and I were very impressed with the outside of the ark and all of the exhibits inside.
I talked to one of the workers and he told me that they are averaging over 4,000 people per day and a couple of Saturday’s ago they had a record 7,700 guests. The part that I’m really excited about is that the Ark Encounter clearly spells out man’s depravity, God’s judgment and Jesus Christ as the only answer. The Gospel is clearly proclaimed at the Ark Encounter (just like it is at the Creation Museum too). May God use the Ark Encounter to save false converts and outright unbelievers. I highly recommend the Ark Encounter as a must see.

If I was able to get a visa and come to USA would come see this. Must be amazing…
