Unreasonable Hecklers Downtown Sept. 25, 2015
Are you a reasonable person? The definition of reasonable is: (of a person) having sound judgment; fair and sensible. Does this describe you tonight? Are you a person of sound judgment? Are you a fair person? Are you a sensible person? Are you reasonable?
Ministry Update: September 27, 2015
Friday night September 25, 2015 we sang hymns to start the night off and then Kelly preached first. He preached against the pope, Rick Warren and T.D. Jakes – he preached against false prophets. He had a heckler get right in his face telling Kelly that he shouldn’t judge and sadly he was the typical judge not heckler. They know Matthew 7:1, but that must be one of the only verses that they know out of the whole Bible. Because if you read just a few verses farther, Jesus is saying don’t be a hypocrite. Don’t tell others they shouldn’t steal if you are a thief. Don’t condemn adultery if you are out committing adultery. Jesus is saying don’t be a hypocrite. [Read more…]
Sometimes we laugh at things that are funny. Sometimes we laugh when it is appropriate and sometimes we laugh when it isn’t. I’ve laughed sometimes at church and even at funerals (when the preacher or speaker said something funny that the deceased said or did). But other times we laugh when it isn’t appropriate. Sometimes I laugh when I’m nervous – and it’s at times when I shouldn’t laugh. Do you ever laugh when it’s inappropriate? Do you ever laugh when you shouldn’t? Are you laughing inappropriately tonight? Are you laughing at God tonight?
The thing about open-air preaching and street ministry is that you never know what’s going to happen. While I was at MSU open-air preaching on Wednesday September 16, 2015, a young man named Marcus walked across the grass in front of me and came up and shook my hand. It’s always great to see people that are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I also had a couple of people that walked by and mouthed off and kept walking which is more typical. But while I was bringing the message, I noticed three students handing out flyers near where I was standing. I didn’t pay much attention to them and kept preaching. Jesus said, “Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart (Matthew 5:27-28). I think of these verses when I hear the word lust, but the Bible also says do not lust after evil things. [Read more…]

It’s true that many of us are still upset over the abominable Supreme Court Ruling a few months ago. We are also upset that Kim Davis sits in jail because she refuses to issue a marriage license to same sex couples because she believes God; because she believes in the biblical definition of marriage which is between a man and a woman. Many of us are upset with the leader of our country who continually keeps leading us astray. But we can survive a wicked leader. We can survive an evil Supreme Court that doesn’t have a single Christian on the bench. We can survive wicked judges across our land. [Read more…]

Attacker being arrested.
Every day more Christians are being attacked for their faith in Jesus Christ. Bakers are facing ridiculously high fines and are being forced out of business. Kentucky’s Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis is still in jail for a contempt of court charge because she refuses to issue same sex marriage licenses. Some Christians are even being physically attacked for the Gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord. [Read more…]
The Bible is supernatural. It is the living word of God. Christians understand this, but unbelievers don’t. My Christian friends will understand what I’m saying tonight.
