What It's All About

Jesus came to seek and save the lost because we have all sinned and our sin separates us from God.  Committing even one sin causes us to be spiritually lost, separated from God.  Sin requires punishment and that punishment will be carried out for eternity in a real place called Hell.  God doesn't want you to go to Hell, so He sent Jesus to suffer and die on the cross in your place.  Jesus took your punishment for you. You broke God's Law, Jesus paid your death penalty fine.  There is nothing you can do on your own to get right with God. You need to receive this amazing, free gift from Jesus.

You receive this gift by repenting, which is more than just saying you are sorry.  "Repent: for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand" (Matt. 4:17). Jesus said this when he began preaching.  You repent by turning away from your sins and turning toward God.  Then put your faith in Jesus, trust Him to save you (Acts 20:21).  Surrender your life completely to Him and allow Jesus to be Lord of your life.  You submit to Him. Today is the day of salvation.  Won't you choose to repent today?
